Northern Virginia Stingers

I am going on a car rally, it's the sunset auto club. Let me know if you guys are interested. It's $35 dollars.

AND SHE'S BACK!!! so to sum it all up, I made an idiotic decision to rebadge earlier this week and f&*%ed up the paint by yanking the badge using a heat gun and CC. Lesson learned the hard way. $700 backs later (with paint repair and 3 day car rental out of pocket) SHE'S BACK and looking SEXIER THAN EVER! My original plan was to put an "E" badge after the paint was repaired, but the technician pitched-in the idea of going for a clean look up front instead and MANNNN i'm loving it! Took his advice and turned out to be hella gorgeous. I've also screwed the rear "STINGER" application by melting the paint with the heat gun and they took care of that as well. If you're looking to get some body work done to your ride or performance parts install, please reach out to Joey, Chris and/or Sean with MAACO of Springfield. Not only they do impeccable attention to detail of their work on paint repairs, but they also do automotive performance parts install. These gentlemen are CAR guys and they are legit. Ouch. Sorry you didn't get the word about not using a heat gun. We had a badge swapping thread a year ago but maybe it's harder to find now. I made some mistakes of my own but fortunately none of them costly. Yours looks great now though! Does the 2019 front bumper not have the holes in it under the badge or did you get them filled?

It 3 holes in it and the shop filled in it, shaved and painted. Thanks my friend!

Saw a blue GT1 or GT2 today around 4 exited from Rt. 50 (Arlington Blvd) towards North Glebe rd. as I make my way on a roundabout entering Rt. 50 from North Glebe. you in here???
 
Going to back again to Tint Plus in Woodbridge tomorrow morning (I think I’m addicted to this place). Getting 35% tint all around. Plus getting a custom “Stinger” decal/graphic put on both sides along the bottom area of the doors.

Messaged with a Stinger owner in Chicago that had a graphic designer out there come up with nice looking decal...so of course I purchased a set from him too. I’ll post some photos tomorrow afternoon.

Nice!... Kevin and Thane are great people!.. I'm waiting for them to start doing ceramic coating (in a few months they said) and they've put me on a call list once they begin.

I'll have to check them out, I need to get my Stinger tinted. I'm thinking of going 35/20 other option would be a totally legal 50/35. Any thoughts?

I just had Tint Plus do 35% all around. I like the more even look, but the rear windows actually ended up looking darker just because there’s a lot less light in the back seat. I went with the mid grade tint which blocks out a good amount of heat. I think 50% is way too light and kind of a waste. Before tinted, I was kind of unsure if I’d get pulled over for 35% in the front, but after tinted I seriously don’t think I’ll ever get pulled over. If you scroll up you can see photos that I posted. Thane can usually get you scheduled pretty quickly and it took less than 90 mins to complete the job.
 
Looking forward to the Washington Auto Show next month. Wondering if they’ll have a 2020 Stinger with some new features.
