Heh.I figured 40-50k for an AWD GT2 plus mods $$$ plus effort. For 60-75k, I can get a recent vintage RS7 of varying degrees of trim/mileage. With software tune alone, you're into the high 10's. Sure, the maintenance and insurance will be more, but it's an actual supercar that seats 4 and has usable cargo space.
I just don't see much progress being made on the 3.3T. Even with all the tuning gymnastics + meth, it's still about as fast as a stock Scatpack Charger (my current daily driver). I was hoping there would be some serious progress on coaxing 500-ish horsepower out of 3.3L, but that seems to be elusive.
Best,
You are missing the fact that this is a brand new platform and the aftermarket industry is now starting to catch up to it, while the other vehicles you mention have been on the market for far longer, giving them a head start in the aftermarket industry. Paitence is a virtue.
