Hey Crewdawg, hows the flash tuning going? Havent heard from you on it in a while and it seemed like you guys were breezing right through it.That’s awesome sir. Cant wait to see see the times on DRs.
Given we have a few cars in the 11s now I think it would be useful if we started measuring calculated DA for all physical drag strip runs. If you're posting a slip you should include track elevation, air temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure. STINGER's run was -123ft calc DA which is seriously awesome turbo weather. I added a column in the Google sheet for Calc DA going forward
I think we should start a petition for Dragy to automatically use location data / weather data to calculate the DA directly on the run. Boom, one more thing people can try to exploitShould have it for all dragy runs too, IMHO.
best runs of the night, 11.94, 12.03, 12.07. Track condition started getting worse and worse and more traffic came in, was aborting run after run due to spinning and decided to call it quits, lowered the tire pressure as well but made no difference.
11.94 and 12.07 logs attached. the 12.07 run would have been an 11 if it wasn't for some slight wheel hope.
you've discovered one of the issues of public test n tunes at the drag strip. Morons on street tires drive through the water box instead of around it. They track water all over the starting line and it screws up everyone's traction.
Did you do any kind of peel out to clean your tires before lining up?
did you back into the water box and use launch control for a second?Yeah I did, also to get the Iat down a little with the wmi activating a little during the peel out. Overall It helped but wasnt enough. Need drag radials to be consistent 11.
He's on street tires, I hope he didn't go to the water box! Is there a reliable way to do a real burnout in our cars? Pulling the brake fuse maybe?did you back into the water box and use launch control for a second?

as long as you're going around it when pulling in, backing into the damp area near it is fine. Burnouts on street tires is just for fun, doesn't help with traction. Spinning them a little will get the debris off which does help. He's on street tires, I hope he didn't go to the water box! Is there a reliable way to do a real burnout in our cars? Nice runs your the first JB4 to hit 11’s at the track ... Now Terry can actually claim that .... Hope there can be many more at the track this summer ...dude that is awesome great job ......best runs of the night, 11.94, 12.03, 12.07. I corrected my DA to - 1879 and added Tork +791 and Jesse P +724 as i had the slips handy.I added calc DA's to the top 4 times on the Google sheet based on location and weather details of the day the Dragy / slip was posted (this took me entirely too long, but it's awesome data to have). Maybe this will put to rest the amount of doubt that Get Stung received over his time... look at that DA!
