However, I do occasionally see some variation in the slope value over the same terrain. Vertical error (altitude) from a top-down GPS satellite fix always has a much greater margin for error than horizontal. I don't really care, as once I've found a level stretch of ground I'm comparing the time, speed and distance measurements (to my own numbers), which show up as extremely consistent for a given session (same temperature, road conditions, DA, etc.).

I wonder if the positioning of the Dragy inside the car has much impact? Say, on the dashboard with a clear view of the sky vs in the arm rest?

What are you using to hold the phone? Tonka.
Don't know what others are using, but I've found that this silicon mat gizmo works great for keeping my phone nicely planted and in my line of sight on the dashboard. When not in use, I store it in the console - I don't want any knobs or plates permanently glued to my nice new interior. :thumbup:

The only time I really need the phone up there anyway is with the Dragy - the rest of the time the phone is in the wireless charger bay, usually connected to run Android Auto.

It generally needs line of site but it either has enough satellites locked on or not, if it doesn't then it goes off line.

It likely makes a difference. A GPS device gains accuracy with the more satellites it see - that always results in a better fix.

My dragy is on the dash and phone is on the vent with a magnet.
I could see the phone getting the end wrong but for the start you are sitting in one place for a few seconds.

Your IATs never see under 100 degrees. Check every connection from your motor to your turbo and IC to intakes and don't run another run until you figure it out. Your car is straight up overheating and that is pulling ridiculous amounts of timing.

Hits 130 degrees. Be safe out there boys. If your car doesn't feel right check your logs and figure out what's going on before you keep running it hard. If you need help you can message me and I'll try to help. I'm no tuner but I can read a log and help come up with some maybes!

Unless you're literally doing 1/4 miles in hell. Or letting your car bake in the sun before each run. Then just stop doing that.

I see you are in FL, but I agree those are high IAT’s. What other mods are on the car?

If none beyond bolt-one, it’s pretty apparent that your 93 octane is not enough for Map3. Due to your humidity and FL temps, you’re going to need a new FMIC, and you’d be a perfect candidate for WMI. Your car is pulling a lot of timing on Map3... simply. It hates it.

What all have you done to the car? I know in NC during the summer it’s hard to keep IAT much lower than 95-100. But you guys have more humidity and normally less peak temps... so I would think after allowing the car to hit operating temps you could maintain 95*.

Also @CFLGT2AWDStinger have you posted the logs to n54? Annnnnnd this would have been better placed in the JB4 thread where it would be found quicker by @Terry@BMS ... which will now be found lmao.

I ran a several heat soaked in town 3.9s 0-60s with 95 degree IATs during tuning testing yesturday. Octane is proabably more of the culprit than the heat. But heat certainly doesnt help either.

@robz32 no changes this week.
