He likes the car? Really? Cause he rags on it quite extensively and constantly.Maybe I have too much time on my hands. But Cali isn't wrong about this: the snobs really will hate the KIA badges and won't "convert". The point he's making is wrong: Kia isn't trying to win over Bimmer owners, they are trying to attract drivers who like those kinds of cars but can't/won't afford them. Kia's foray into the luxury, high performing GT class isn't about the owners of cars already of this type; it is about attracting buyers who don't have this type of car already. Cali is in a rare group: he likes the car while owning expensive ones too; because the Stinger is a blast. And possibly he has too much time on his hands too.

LETS BE HONEST . WE ALL WOULD RATHER HAVE A NEW BMW IN Our DRIVEWAYs WHEN THE JONES ARE OVER FOR DINNER. KIA IS FOR KIDS.
To be fair: @CaliSting has not had the best experience with his Kia Stinger. He does seem to enjoy driving the car. His complaints are about various failings that others have talked about, that their cars share in common. He likes the car? Really? Cause he rags on it quite extensively and constantly.
Don’t misunderstand me. I was one of first guys proving these cars have chops going to competitive events and laying waste to Euro trash. I have always loved oddball cars and this one is certainly up there as odd as Kia really has no business trying to marketing these cars. My harsh criticsism of their loser dealerships and suspect quality on a $52k MSRP car are warranted. But from engineering stand point these are very solid cars but I’m a realist and understand my ability to be an early adopter is not going to be generalized into market acceptance or sales numbers. Sorry if you guys can’t accept my opinion that this car is doomed unless it is transformed significantly. It arrived about 5 years too late to US.To be fair: @CaliSting has not had the best experience with his Kia Stinger. He does seem to enjoy driving the car. I would never have bought a Stinger if it wasn't AWD. An absolute must for an all year daily drive in CanadaI’m not really a brand loyalist I take each car for its merits and I felt like rewarding Kia for taking a chance on Stinger although really have to question anyone who bought AWD version of this car as it was never intended to be AWD.
Do you actually believe he actually owns a Stinger? To be fair: @CaliSting has not had the best experience with his Kia Stinger. He does seem to enjoy driving the car. His complaints are about various failings that others have talked about, that their cars share in common.

Hell I have driven Toyota Echos and loved that car ....driven almost every Datsun and Nissan Z car made, owned numerous Porsche’s and Mazda’s. Driven Audi’s etc. To be honest Stinger reminds me a lot of my old 280 zX 2+2! I’m not really a brand loyalist I take each car for its merits and I felt like rewarding Kia for taking a chance on Stinger although really have to question anyone who bought AWD version of this car as it was never intended to be AWD. I just don’t think Kia has chops to make this car successful and I do believe they will fail by late 2020. But hey it’s an opinion. Some of you guys get so wrapped up in your purchase of this car you lose all perspective. I’m not here to defend Kia or to make sure everything I say is in positive light. I have said lots of positive things about the Stinger as well.
For me, I rebadged not because of Kia shame, but I want others to judge the car on its merits, not the badge. Then through the education (quality, engineering, handling, performance, warranty, etc), to see their opinion evolve.
Don’t know haven’t seen any photos of his car yet.Do you actually believe he actually owns a Stinger?

How did you black out rear stinger, GT and AWD emblem? Looks super nice. Mine is white AWD and I am planning to replace all emblems in rear with "Stinger" Lettering Emblem. I assume, Blacked out will look super nice on white as well. Might get something as your front as well. Your car looks super cool.
?? Daimler has nothing to do with Dodge. Hasn't been for ten years.I thought of that, and who could blame them? He said the Maz was an older one that they’d bought new, but was now worth a fraction of what they’d paid.
He mentioned that there have been a lot of Charger trade-ins. I used to want a charger, but I don’t trust Daimler.
Didn’t realize that. So who owns dodge? Jeep and Dodge are made by the same company, right??? Daimler has nothing to do with Dodge. Hasn't been for ten years.
