So I've just purchased a dragy and over the next few months plan on running the following experiment with a rwd GT stinger (has the lsd):
Multiple runs before each mod using various fuel types and configurations - runs on e10(94) and 98 petrol (curious to measure the difference) sports v smart mode, launch control on/off.
Will document extra weight carried (e.g. Passenger plus fuel reading), temperature, psi and fuel type, setting used and whether launch control was utilised. For sake of research, will try to be as consistent as possible.
Runs will be conducted on the same road.
Will record:
0-100km/h
0-60km/h and
0-20m.
Pending safety and availability, I'll be running some 1/4 miles.
After stock measurements, I'll drop in k and n filter panels into stock airbox and repeat.
Then spark plugs and jb4 and repeat.
Then eibach sway bars and repeat.
Then window tint and repeat (that's a joke BTW).
Then a downpipe and repeat.
You get the picture.
