Bad Dowtown LA Kia

I'm in the market to get one before the end of the month. I was hoping for higher incentives for November, but looks to be a no go. In SoCal, look at Citrus Kia. It's looking like better deals in Bay/SF area. I'm considering flying up north, if better deals can be reached there, and driving it down.
If you can get a good deal let me know where. I am in the market also.

I got kicked out of this dealer...YES! KICKED OUT. I was talking to a sales guy there and gave him my number which I got it from another dealer. Asked the sales person if they can beat the price. All of the sudden, the manager came and asked me to leave because the number I gave them was ridiculous. Well, I was happy to find out that I got a good deal and went to the previous dealer and purchased. I filed a complaint against them at the corporation. Like other people said, there are plenty of different dealers. However, a dealer should never ask a customer leave even if they cannot come up with the number.

Wow, that's just crazy. So it seems like we need to stay away from this stealership for sure. Mind sharing where you ended up getting your stinger?

Have we asked ourselves why are we dealing with Kia? My friend told me Kia has the worst salesman in the nation. We have to bring our cars into Kia for service in the future. Possibly getting ripe off.

I am on my 4th KIA and have never had a issue with a sales person. Your friend doesn't know what they are talking about, there are no more or less bad KIA sales person's than any other brand. That has been my experience. Retired in 2003 and have leased 13 cars in that period.

So your friend has been to every Kia dealership in the nation to quantify that statement “worst salesman in the nation”?

He said statistically Kia is. I will ask him where he got it from.
Oh ok, you didn’t state statistically in your post, so I would be interested in that source.

I purchased mine at Glendale Kia. They weren't happy with my number($) but was able to work something out, very close to what I wanted.

Some places may have a few bad sales folks but not all are that way, that goes for every brand, not just KIA. If you guys truly want a car, you can look out side your area for one. KIA of Muncie has been assisting forum members get cars from all over the country. He posted a question in this thread, why don’t you guys respond and see what he can do for you.

How do you show, "statistically" that Kia dealers are worst? I'm pretty interested in your "friends" source too.

He could have read from magazine source like consumers report maybe. I have to ask when i see him.

An update on my interaction with this dealership today. I went in to offer my counter price from another dealership. After all the BS i walked out and they ran after me and agreed to the price. Going through the process the sale gyy came back with the monthly payment. I said to him why isnt yours match with mine. I showed him the app i was using. He came back with the same price as mine. Then i went into the finance office. Its a cold place atmosphere and metaphorical. I asked the finance guy whats my monthly payment to make sure its corrected. Nope its higher. He fixed it. Then come the final dagger. He told me i will be paying more monthly because the tax bracket is wrong. I live in LB and they used LA tax. Thats BS all the way. I told them i am living in LB when they quoted me. All the dealerships who quoted me always asked where i live before they calculate the price. The finance guy called in the manager and he said we cant sell the car unless i paid the difference in tax. The quote i got on paper didnt have a sale tax anywhere but the finance guy pointed to the paper. I asked to take a picture . I took my back my paper i filled out and he said i cant do that. He needs it. I said i am not doing business with you so i am taking this home. He changed to his demeanor tone "whatever man ". This place tried 3 times to steal my money. For an everage consumer who are unaware will get rip off here. I believed my friend said Kia salesmans are bad.

Going into a dealership and telling the salesperson you're shopping for a certain monthly payment is begging to be taken for a ride.

Good on you for walking out before signing a contract for a 100 month 20% interest loan.

I never tell them what i wanted to pay per month. Its based on the the price they offered to sell and how much i put down to come up with how much i will pay per month. I already did the math before i went in. A calculator doesnt make mistake i wonder what they added to raise my monthly payment.

Why don't you get pre-approved from your bank for the max amount you're willing to pay and go into the dealership with the check?

That will show them that you're serious and can't be sold north of whatever dollar amount is in the draft.

I took advantage of Kia .9%. I was in the finance office. I was ready to take her home. Cant be more serious to buy than sitting in finance with a guy who will try to rip you off.

Anyone have any good experience with LA or OC area Kia dealers?
Message @Sanjay R He's from Oakland: and he recently flew up here to Salt Lake City and bought from Jerry Seiner, then drove his new Stinger back to CA. He did all of his dickering over the phone. And when it came time to sign the sales contract, Jerry Seiner laid out exactly what they had agreed to over the phone. I'm sure you'll get a sale for a lot less up here than going around in high priced Cali. Plus you'll get a nice road trip returning home. Enjoy Virgin River gorge on I-15; only downside is, it's not long enough.

Here is my quote from the dealership today. Only got 5.24% off MSRP. Its because i like the ceramic color. Funny thing the finance guy keep pointing at this sheet and said the tax bracket is wrong. It should be higher. Where the heck did it even said that?
