• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

YVR Stingers

I went MBRP and tips. No complaints! Cost wise MBRP hurts the least. Look at buying from T-dot or Unique Performance both CDN free shipping no border fees.
I’m on the unique website right now , it’s on sale lol . Thanks

Hey guys, can any of you recommend a reputable wheel and tire shop in the lower mainland/van? One that would help order wheels, fitment, offset. Most definitely willing to travel for good help. Local shop says they can only order Niche wheels..

Do you know what kind of wheels you want ? I have a set of 19” enkie wheels and brand new Goodyear rubber on them , might be interested in selling . The entire set has seen less than a tank of gas since I put the winters on

Since you asked... here are ones that peak my interest. Haven’t been able to settle on one yet though.AF864CAA-EE94-49C9-94CA-586888B4E430.webp

I like the first ones on the blue as well. There is a place in North Van called Sorat. I see a lot of nice car at his shop. Check them out on the web.

I agree, most people say it's too boring but I think its a nice contrast to the car. Personal favorite right now are the ones on the orange. Pictures 3 and 5 would be black (or gunmetal) wheels, not bronze. Thanks, will do.

Thanks,
I'm not sold on black wheels for the blue yet. I seem to go back and forth on them
+1 for sorat a lot of my north shore buddies use them , and yes I hear you on the wheels I like mine I just didn’t pick them so maybe I’ll just dip them so there gloss black , it will match my chrome delete I’m working on , I use tire craft in Port Coquitlam they have always been good with me

You can try 1010tires. They have a few locations around the lower mainland and is where I get my tire sets swapped and stored. I did use an online site to order my tires and rims from though.

Edit: I like the rims on the white stinger. I got black rims with my winter set and I really regret it with my thunder gray. I guess I found out the hard way that I'm not a blacked out kind of guy. Personal preference I do love the niche vosso rims which I hope to get some time in the future.

Same here been meaning to plasti-dip mine to see how I like it. Even bought the dip.

Black wheels don’t look bad on the blue, it just depends how much you want to stand out. I don’t enjoy blending in necessarily, so that’s why black isn’t very appealing to me. Silver pops nicely IMO

Hey guys,
Looking at intakes, either K&N typhoon or Injen. I know a few of you have these. What’s been your guys’ experience with local dealerships and warranty with these? Read a lot on them and it seems to differ by dealership, in general it seems like the consensus is that intakes are an acceptable mod under warranty? Also considering talking to my dealership to see if they would install it (if that helped with maintaining warranty).
Also interested in opinions on the K&N vs Injen. Injen, higher price but more hp than K&N. sounds like fitment is similar. From videos it sounds like K&N may be a bit louder.
Any help is appreciated, thanks

Go Injen. Install yourself. Don’t worry about them affecting the warranty.
Pro Tip:geek::
If you are worried about your warranty do not modify your car!

Hey Billy did you install your exhaust or take it somewhere ? I ordered mbrp last week and some CF tips . Just looking for recommendations on where to get installed

I’m using the Midas on the North Shore. You want to talk to Nathan in the office and have Pedro do the work in the shop. I’ll be there tomorrow having my Arks installed.

I don’t think it’s silly. I just took the easy way going to Midas. Glad I did one of the tabs needed to be heated and bent just ever so little and the bolts are tight so leverage from under the car might be a challenge. An extra pair of hands will come in handy from under the car.
