• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

YVR Stingers

Im hearing that the 3.3TT will be replaced by the 3.5TT but Im also hearing that it won't be. Hopefully they keep the 3.3TT because I would rather have a tried and trued engine than risk it for 10 more horses. My plan was to buy the 2022 next year when they come out. Im currently trying to save for a hefty ~40-50% down payment to reduce the monthly financing cost lol
Awesome keep saving!!
But id recommend getting used if u can ^.^ save on some depreciation.

The 2021 stinger in Korea still has the 3.3TT with a few more HP due to a revised exhaust. So when we get the 2022 model it most likely will be the same, but who knows!

I would love to see a 3.5TT stinger beat the Audi S5 and be 2/3 the price haha.

Wait so the Korean 2021 is the north american 2022???

Im not a fan of the backend lights tho, so im happy with what I got. Not sure if the revised engine will make THAT much of a difference.
The only want is that variable exhaust!!

Follow asian petrolhead in korea on youtube hes already test driving the 2.5T

2019 Kia Stinger GT with 200km on it asking 37,900$ (MSRP is 45k)
Its not the limited but has every bit of the driving dynamics. get em down to 35-36k

This is even cheaper than some accords... And if they just took in-service recently you will still have the full 5 year warranty which starts on the in-service date. ^.^

Kia Stinger - "new" for 35k? wowwww

it is a very good deal

If any forum lurkers here looking to get into a stinger this is a great deal.

Ive seen used 2018 stingers 30k km go for similar price ~35-37k (limited tho)

Your basically getting a new car at 10k discount. Only issues I have doing something similar is that my 2019 has lots of swirl marks because those teenagers they hire to wash their cars dont care, battery life and tire life for rubber aging.

Other than that its been gooood. Also you wont get the 0% finance because its considered a used car..

Also 2020s have LSD but honestly for AWD that wont matter as much.

Hey YVR peeps! Wondering if there's any interest out there to get a solid group ride together before our weather turns to crap. I'm thinking it could be a sea to sky drive and beers thing. Let me know what y'all think.

Thanks,

I actually bought their last 2019 GT Limited back in 2019.

I don't know how we could arrange a drive and a booze together unless you mean like one beer max per person? Designated drivers?

That makes eight enough for a nice little meet and greet. I’d say we just set a date sooner rather than later and see who shows. I assume a Saturday or Sunday would be preferable and since the calendar is getting short I’ll throw out the following dates to choose from Sept. 26,27, Oct. 3-4,10.
The Milltown Bar & Grill (south Granville area) has a huge parking lot and would make for a good starting/ending point. However if a Squamish Drive is what people want then a North Shore meeting point would be more appropriate. Personally I would say keep it local for the first time. Perhaps Milltown meet with a drive to Queensborough for a bite and beer at Frankie G’s or Tugboat Annie’s off Graybar Road.
So lets get guys to chime in on their preferred date/route and we will pick what works for the majority. Lets do this guys!!

Weather isn't looking great this weekend so maybe Oct 3rd/4th is better. Squamish drive or Queensborough drive sounds good to me. I haven't been to either Frankie G's or Tugboat Annie's so it'll be a nice experience for me.

Depending on the route and time im interested in joining for the driving portion.

but due to COVID i probably wont join for the dine-in part.

And ive done a few drives before, i recommend waking up either super early so there is less traffic or later in the night. (i.e, 6-7am drive or after 8:30pm)

Ya if people just wanna do a drive and not dine, I'm easy. I'm also good for an early drive.

People who are interested for a ride this coming October 4rth email me your cell numbers to and il create a what's app chat so we can organize this. Figured it would be easier to hear from everyone this way.
