I respectfully disagree, it's having intelligent conversations around divergent thought that makes life worth living - it's about HOW you express it that makes it worth listening to...in my opinion :p
I disagree especially when a person throws insults at our members indirectly. Its ok to have a discussion but not like that, its disrespectful to other members who did change their badges. And if others agree with my thoughts tick the agree box to let us know.

Yes but calling people shallow pinheads because they do something different to others isn’t an opinion. FTW this car is available in SK with these badges.
Carmakers send cars all around the world with different badging & names...does that make them shallow pinheads? It’s all about freedom of choice & that’s what most of us want & fight for...just my opinion though.

I'm not disagreeing with you on that. It was more your blanket comment of "keeping opinions to yourself" - I know you were telling him to show some respect, as was I. We're in total agreement.

Read my comment again, you'll find I'm agreeing with you.

Yes and with regards to your avatar you have been asked a number of times to change it. It would be appreciated if you did. Please refrain from analogies that some of our members who have changed their badges are shallow pinheads.
I dont recall anyone asking me to change my avatar. I dont think my pet wolf would appreciate it.

Yes I was also agreeing with your comment, it was just reinforcement to what you said about opinions, so I guess we are all on the same page, re: shallow pinhead comment, from the same member who said k.m.a in another thread.

Sir, with your comments & avatar lowering the tone of things I suspect this is all we can expect from you in the future.

Ypu really have to be a shallow pinhead to worry about the badge on your car. What does it prove? Are you one of those people who put perception before performance.

My avatar says it all.

This is my take:
1. This car is eye candy - people are drawn to it.
2. If it is badged KIA, then there is no discussion - people will see, and draw their own conclusions and keep on walking down the street.
3. If it is rebadged completely, then people are much more likely to ask about the car. I like people, I like hearing, "that's a KIA?", and I like talking about my car. So the re-badging works for me. It allows people to have an initial impression of the car without having any idea what brand it is. When I tell them its a KIA, they're usually become more interested.
4. Where I am, there are plenty of Porsche's, Mazzerati's, Alfa's, Benz's and Beemers parked up and down the street. This car stands out (in a good way).
5. Call them pin heads, but the undisputed truth is that brand names mean a lot to the developed world.

Which badge do you have on the front? E badge? Do people think it's kind of weird compared to the "Vintage K" logo? I'm considering the E now and would like to hear people's reactions. I can see some being like "But why E?"
(And I know it's for Excellence).

Some people initially think its an electric vehicle - until they see the quad exhausts :).

I have E badging as that is what they use in SK, but every badge offering is to individual taste.
Hyundai - Genesis
Toyota - Lexus
Nissan - Infiniti
Holden - HSV

Have you done the E badges?
Yes I have, you can check my pics in the garage, & I just ordered the Stinger steering wheel badge from Sal’s store, BTW won’t be able to eat for a week on the shipping alone....lol.
We have owned 4 Kia’s (wife has new Cerato Sport) this is the only one I have rebadged.
I also had a 2005 VZ SSZ, which I completely rebadged with Chevrolet emblems, did this back before everyone did it as I was driving a car then on a full Chevrolet Corvette drivetrain.

Shipping costs are driving me insane!! Dashcams are so much cheaper in the US, add shipping....forget about it.

I just bought my princess a new Sportage - badges will remain stock. But then again, she's not a pinhead :)

That's pretty funny. But your point about that badge forcing people to ask about the car is interesting. You may have converted me from the blue Kia Motors badge.

I just got out of 2013 Sportage Platinum, great car she should enjoy the new model.
