Your next car after our beloved stinger?

Polestar 2 dual motor, long range, performance.

I tend to drive my cars completely into the ground. My G6 GXP lasted 14 years, so I expect around the same from my Stinger, and I got her late summer this year.

My car is the roadtrip car, which EVs currently suck at. I'm not against an EV but unless it can go 350+miles on a tank/charge at 60-75mph cruising, and refuel/recharge in less than 5 mins, I'd give it a miss be it EV, Hydrogen, Gas, Diesel, Steam, Hamsters, or Flintstones foot power. Maybe EVs get better in that time. No matter how you slice it, I'll cross that bridge when I drive under it (as Ted Kennedy would say).

I suppose I'll drive the Stinger until the DMV takes away my driving privileges (unless some fool totals it before then). Pre-Stinger, I'd made a checklist of features I wanted, and to this day no other car in my price range—or even near—has ticked as many of the boxes, and has the looks I want. I'd kind of hoped that Kia would produce a new generation Stinger—an EV—just in case I'm still driving in my 80s and 90s.

BTW, I was shocked to see an ad for Stinger pop up to the side of the main content when I was doing my daily dive into the political cartoons on GoComics this morning. I thought Kia'd quit actually promoting the car a lonnnnng time ago.

You're sounding like Merlin LoL.

Yeah, I kinda noticed. But hey, I'm saner and don't own any firearms.
Sounds like he should give you his. LoL.

Like anything else... Proper tool for the job...

The 3000GT VR4s are pretty sweet, too.

Not my style at all
Like a subaru SVX
Cool but a bitttch to work on
The earlier years had the more boxy style I like, the later years of the 3000GT were ugly as hell.

Feel the same just love classics (pre 70) the 70's themselves has some nice cars but few made good power.
80's was the hight of sporty car and the bottom of the domestic city mobile. 90's has a mixed bag with great sports cars again and lame economy cars. Then modern-day days are all kind poop-sicles but a few good things still were made.

Yeah there were some pretty solid vehicles that I enjoy from every era. GM put out some pretty sweet vehicles for a while. The GMC Syclone is one of my dream cars for sure, those things are fire, Leno said it's his favorite car.

I apologize to anybody else reading this, don't want to distract from the thread.

If (when) the Stinger goes away, I'm into dream car territory. GT-R is probably top of the list, then an RS5. Depending on how crazy and old I get, I still want to pick up an original Countach or a H1.
