lol, for a second I thought those were cars. I'm thinking, "How the hell did some dude get a Suzuki Tracker to 160MPH?"

Some of those are impressive. However, I'd expect a 200MPH+ ticket in TX

I could have been #6 but preferred not to get caught, and don't live (or drive) in Texas.

There are a few "top speed" vids on YouTube and what I find interesting is they all take 17-19s to reach 200kph. That takes me just a shade over 12s. They should be getting that in 14s or so, I would think. I'm hitting in 20s what takes them 30s.

I'm not stock but those are some huge improvements. If I ever get a chance to record, I'll be eager to share here..

Stock it will do 160 (actual).

My '03 5.4 Lariat FX4 will do (GPS measured) 120. Doesn't take long to get there, but it's not a relaxing experience.

Wow...and with its higher center of gravity, definitely wouldn't be the safest thing to be in while going 150+.

I was noticing the same thing: wedged between 156 and 150.

The ONLY reason why I ever went that fast is because the Stinger is just as smooth, stable and quiet at 155 as it is sub 100. Confidence inspiring in every sense of the term.

Jail time likely. Car/bike impounded certainly. A guy on here told his story about passing as soon as he got on the freeway, and when he looked down he was surprised to see 108 MPH and descending. The cop who pulled him over said he was going faster than that, and impounded his Stinger. Of course, I think from the way the story was told to me that the cop had an attitude. But that just increases the danger of bad things happening.

(I once got a ticket for not stopping at a STOP sign: I saw the cop car on the other side of the road as I pulled up to the corner of a "T" intersection, looked both ways, went as slowly as pedestrians do, and proceeded around the corner. He "U" turned, flashed his lights, walked up and told me the evil news. I was seriously annoyed. When I explained my understanding of a functional "stop" to be as slow as walking speed before proceeding, he said: "Actually, sir, the ordinance requires a 'back rock' on the wheels and a complete stop for at least three seconds." I objected that nobody negotiates stop signs like that, nobody. And he simply handed me the citation. I appealed it before a city judge, who was likewise unsympathetic. That was when I realized that cops in West Jordan are revenue gatherers and I de facto hate all traffic cops around here. I still "stop" the same as always if they are not around; but I look for cops all the time in this town, and I'll never "stop", when one is around, without that "back rock and full three seconds".)

In some states here if you get caught doing those speeds your car is impounded and then crushed. Although i think they may have no riscinded that law recently?

Funnier than hell story for me. I was doing over 100 mph on highway 1 in 55 mph zone but it’s a stretch where you can see up road for a mile no access roads etc. ocean on one side sheer mountain on other. CHP was hiding behind big dirt pile. Got me on radar and he was laughing when he walked up to car. “Trying to see how fast it will go?” ....yeah. “ Ok please slow I down and be careful”. Thank you for your service sir! “Have a good day”. ....I’ve really been lucky with CHP. They have tough job and I always them with utmost respect. Think they laugh when they see almost 60 year old dude flying down road doing 100 mph plus.

Never got pulled over in ticket magnet Kia.

just told the cop the truth, he wrote me up said slow it down....he could of done worse..
