Having just visited Oregon and Washington states for the first time with my car, I was at first annoyed, and am now seriously put out, that I cannot gas up my own car there. It's against their rools (aka laws). In a week of visiting, I almost forgot how to put my own gas in (slight exaggeration). Today, at some station on Hwy 20, the guy went to work on my windshield. I noticed too late! He had already grabbed the driver's side wiper and pulled up on it. I almost shouted, "Don't move the wipers they hit the edge of the hood!" He insisted that they move out of the way, even proving the error of his words as he "demonstrated". Heh! Thank goodness I put PPF on before this trip, otherwise right now I'd have a ripped paint job along the back edge of my hood at least an inch long. Instead, I have slightly abused PPF. So, if you're gasing up in OR or WA, keep a wary eye on the gas station attendants, or else it will happen to you.
