Having just visited Oregon and Washington states for the first time with my car, I was at first annoyed, and am now seriously put out, that I cannot gas up my own car there. It's against their rools (aka laws). In a week of visiting, I almost forgot how to put my own gas in (slight exaggeration). Today, at some station on Hwy 20, the guy went to work on my windshield. I noticed too late! He had already grabbed the driver's side wiper and pulled up on it. I almost shouted, "Don't move the wipers they hit the edge of the hood!" He insisted that they move out of the way, even proving the error of his words as he "demonstrated". Heh! Thank goodness I put PPF on before this trip, otherwise right now I'd have a ripped paint job along the back edge of my hood at least an inch long. Instead, I have slightly abused PPF. So, if you're gasing up in OR or WA, keep a wary eye on the gas station attendants, or else it will happen to you.

New Jersey, too!

Living in New Jersey has me spoiled. I cry when I have to pump my own gas.

It's only Oregon. Here in Washington, we don't have that crazy law.

What f'n reason do they have to touch your wipers!?! Keep your filthy paws off my vehicle!

Agreed. As i watch people fill up their cars at the costco lot i can only imagine what type of damage can/could be done from letting this occur on a daily basis by someone who cares nothing for the auto. Bang the nozzle, spill gas on paint, incorrect octane, and god knows what else.

Wtf, iwonder how much our gasprices in socal would be if this were lawlolo

Wow. Never even thought about this - and I pumped gas for a living back in the day! LOL

several threads on this, Ima thread bumper.
just changed out the wiper blades for the first time in nearly five years. lol had to read the manual on how to get the wiper arms to stop in the raised position, only took three tries turning the car on and off before I got it right, must be a middle age thing.
my new blades are rain-x probably a lot cheaper than dealer oem metal shrouded blades.
these blades are floppy rubber shrouded blade material and won't plow through slush anywhere near as forcefully as the oem metal shrouded blades, Ima thinking, but thought why not try them out.
the o'reilly guy took pity on me and came out and finished up installing them, it was taking forever but would have got there eventually, I had the driver's side oem out and was trying to see what the hangup was clicking the new blade in.
what replacement blades do you guys go to?
