Hello my name is Steve in live in South Texas I recently brought a 2019 GTS, and I have questions
bawaaaa , Merlin is the Stinger Siri BawaaaaaaYeeessss?
He’s trying to get to that 50,000 posts clubbawaaaa , Merlin is the Stinger Siri Bawaaaaaa
NopeYou drive belted up?Because the most common "rattle" that comes from the B pillars is the belt buckle touching the pillar(s).
"Wind noises" doesn't really apply to your question, so far.
I’ll keep that in mind but that’s not it.I have noticed a light “rubbing” sound from the weatherstripping rubbing against the body frame. But that’s as close to wind noise I’ve heard.

I figured. But you did say "seatbelts" so that had to be tossed out. Owners lobotomize their car's nanny systems in the strangest ways, i.e. the "you have not belted in!" nanny dingdingdingdingdingdingding would have to go in order to drive unbelted - at least mine never shuts up; on older cars the seatbelt "dingdingding" only lasts a limited, usually five, "dings" and then goes away. I guess that regulations have mandated that it never stop. Then there's the expedient that most rebels use: just leave the belt buckled and sit on it: but then the buckle wouldn't be retracted against the B pillar to make noise.I drive belted up DUH
Heaven forefend. Other than a relatively few lapses, all my posts have value. But assuming the present rate remains constant, that would be attained roughly January 2027; well into the second generation Stinger.49,992 non value add posts.
Merlin posts ..........a lot , but I would not categorize him as a Post Whore , he usually has something additive to say or add to a thread , the worst PW was banished several months ago49,992 non value add posts.

Problem solved, thanks for the responsesI figured. But you did say "seatbelts" so that had to be tossed out. If the "rattle" is actually coming from the belt return spool mechanism, the B pillar is going to have to be taken apart to get at it. If it is loose fitment of plastic on plastic parts, then pushing and prying around edges with a close inspection might snap something back into place (possibly for the first time since leaving the assembly line, heh). I can't think of anything else right now.

I have the same problem. The noise sounds like it is coming from the outside. Only hear it on the passenger side and can hear it while I am driving. It’s really loud and gets worse as speed increase which leads me to the fact it is directly related to wind. I am taking it in next week and see what they find. I am afraid it will be one of those “couldn’t duplicate owner concern”Problem solved, thanks for the responses
