What's the closest thing to a Stinger

Compared to a GT:

Audi S5 has the hatchback and roughly the same performance but it's smaller.

Audi A7 has the hatchback and is a little slower but bigger.

VW Arteon has the hatchback and is roughly the same size but slower.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I was actually looking at a fully loaded Audi A5 sportback just before purchasing my stinger. 56k with nearly all the options. And you get a tiny 2.0 turbo. Everything about the S5 was perfect to be but they wanted almost 70k for nearly fully equipped sportback. I saved myself 20k by going kia.

I’m sorry but is it just me or does anyone else not even consider Buick’s when looking for a sporty sedan? They have always been an old person car here.. IMHO.. I couldn’t name 3 Buick models right now.. maybe it’s different in other parts of country..
I was shopping the BMW 4 gran coupe..but I went with a the stinger and paid off my house 3years quicker..lol

Does Maserati Count???:ninja:

Maserati has gone to crap since switching to quantity not quality. Don't get me wrong they still sound amazing. But not worth it. I drove a ghibli for 3 days. Lots of wow you drive a maserati but the inside wasn't any better than the Chrysler. Very poorly made plastics. Their chrysler screen sucked too. And the door gaps were just painfully big.

I agree but the irony is that I could say the same thing about Kia prior to my awareness of the stinger. So later I started second guessing whether there’s any other sleeper cars I had been ignoring.

Closest in performance/price/features: G70
but no hatch and shorter wheel base.

I love the g70.. just took to long to get to our market.. Kia beet them to my wallet..(I guess they got it the end anyways, lol)

And yes I agree.. I never looked twice at Kia (maybe the Sorento, which I think is still a good looking suv, just no performance) before the Stinger.

BMW 4 gran coupe is the absolute closest; 4 door, sportback hatch, RWD based drive train, similar performance, marginally more expensive.

With a cheaper interior. :p

I believe other threads cover this topic. pretty good list so far I'd only suggest two others:

1. Alpha Romeo Gulia - 4cyl turbo awd is quite similar overall - same price as GT, has better handling, lighter but less power, smaller. I won't buy due to lack of DIY parts in US
2. Ford Fusion Sport - 6cyl twin turbo awd - less expensive, doesn't handle as well, front-biased AWD vs rear in the stinger

IMHO a GT2 matches closest with BMW 440i GC, Audi S5/S7, Porsche Panamera 4s.

Then G70 3.3T, Q50 Red Sport, Giulia Ti Sport, Regal GS & Fusion Sport are all similar but not quite on par with our Stingers.

This new 2019 Audi RS5 gave me butterflies like when I first saw the Stinger. It's gorgeous.

Not the same price unfortunately.:D
If I had that much money to spend on a car, that RS5 would be very high on my list too. :)

the quatrofiglio version of the alfa is a 2.9 v6 with 505 hp, awd and an 8 speed automatic.
