It's the feed line from the crankcase going into the OCC, which is too short.Use the stock hose your car came with from the check valve to the pcv valve
That probably makes the most sense of what I've heard so far. Yep, no issues (yet) and it runs great, just that annoying little high pitched buzzing sound on and off.Well, back in the day, before there was so much smog s**t on cars, I remember that I could pull the PCV valve out of the grommet it goes into on the valve cover (hose still attached, so it was pulling vacuum), and sometimes you could hear the valve "singing" as it vibrated at a high frequency, I suspect this is the way they work, to regulate the amount of air flow through it. It would stop when you plugged it back into the valve cover as it would encounter less flow. So perhaps with the OCC on, it is changing the flow dynamic in the crankcase just enough to get the valve to make noise.
If you have all the hoses nice and tight, and no other issues, it is probably fine.
Tried cutting the hose a little shorter, and using the stock clamp, but the SXTH hose is a little bigger than the stock hose so it wouldn't fit. Put it back together with the SXTH hoses & clamps, still making the noise. Not sure what else to do at this point. Stock setup for a quiet engine, or OCC that is noisy, but will keep it clean.
If I find anything new I will post it up here.
Thanks for everyone's help. I appreciate it.
