What's good catch can?

Quick follow-up...After doing very little research on a few different websites, it seems the PCV valve is supposed to be loose and rattle when removed from the engine and shaken. And if it does not rattle, it's clogged and needs replaced. Thoughts on this?
They have always rattled when shaken on all the cars I have owned.

I called the local Kia dealer and spoke with a tech briefly and he said the Stinger PCV valve is supposed to rattle when shaken.

Pull the check valve and call it a day...or order one from a different vendor. Thats if you are good with the OCC ya got. Somewhere in this forum, if i remember correctly, I had seen someone had picked up an aluminum one.
I installed the new PCV valve and the noise from the OCC/check valve seemed to have stopped. I only ran it for a few minutes, then took it for a short drive, but so far so good. Guess the old PCV valve was bad, even though the spring was moving freely.

I've never messed with PCV valves on any of my previous vehicles so this was new to me. But, good to know this is how they're supposed to be.

Never mind my PM
