map 1, only have 91 octane around me.
I also dd on Map 2 with Shell V91. But I also dd on Maps 3/5 when I add 5 gallons of e85 to the mix.I have only 91 from Shell around me and did a few pulls at WOT and Terry confirmed I could use it on Map 2- give it a shot !
We only have 91 here too and I've been running Map 1 since I got the JB4 almost 2 years ago. Not sure why I haven't considered running Map 2 for all this time, but last week I decided to switch it to Map 2 for the first time ever. WOW. It's like a whole new car. My initial response was, "I can't believe I've been missing out all this time."I have only 91 from Shell around me and did a few pulls at WOT and Terry confirmed I could use it on Map 2- give it a shot !
where can i find what all the map files do?
any reason why you had them ?Map 2 - then my misfire issues.
I voted for map six because map two has been throwing turbo over speed fault codes and turning my turbos off. I got to stop the car turn it off and then turn it back on and everything's good to go. So I decided to try map 6 today so that I could reduce the boost at the lower RPMs by one or two PSI. Will post results as I get opportunity to test more. Hey does anybody know much about Map 6?
Denso gapped at $22,000 and always 93 octane.Map2 was given you issues... silly question but what gas are you using ? what sparkplugs do you have?
