We only have 91 here too and I've been running Map 1 since I got the JB4 almost 2 years ago. Not sure why I haven't considered running Map 2 for all this time, but last week I decided to switch it to Map 2 for the first time ever. WOW. It's like a whole new car. My initial response was, "I can't believe I've been missing out all this time."
where can i find what all the map files do?
im about to purchase the JB4 kit from Burger Motorsports and a new intercooler also.
but want to know what the all the map files do.
From what I've been told we're expected to change our spark plugs every year or so or about 15-20k miles. I am also getting a new chipset for my JB4 to see if that helps. Apparently there is a safety built into it that cuts out the power that might cause it.
I use the wiper map switch and I voted for map 1 but typically keep it on map zero. I dont Commute with this vehicle. I always find myself switching to map 2.
I voted for map six because map two has been throwing turbo over speed fault codes and turning my turbos off. I got to stop the car turn it off and then turn it back on and everything's good to go. So I decided to try map 6 today so that I could reduce the boost at the lower RPMs by one or two PSI. Will post results as I get opportunity to test more. Hey does anybody know much about Map 6?

Hi guys. I’m using map 4. 98 octane. I’m getting 21psi boost on this map. I’ve tested all maps but seem to get the best boost on map 4. Map 2 doesn’t seem to be as aggressive as 4.
