What is the engine break-in period for the Kia Stinger?

the specifics are in the manual but all KIA engines are broken in already from the factory, what the manual suggests is basically to use a range of RPM's during the first 600 miles (2000-4000 RPM), don't redline it, and to refrain from using cruise control or a steady RPM for an extended period. and don't tow anything. lol.
Where does it say that the engines are broken in from the factory?

I believe that there is some confusion on what "stress/torture testing" is; it doesn't mean each individual engine, but rather during engine development. Once an engine is used at Kia (all reputable manufacturers do this), it has already undergone enormous amounts of testing, including the vaunted stress/torture tests. A Kia engine is run for 300 hours at full throttle under load, pausing only to add oil; then another ten to twenty hours at plus 10-20% over spec (over red line) just to be sure. That's why red line is not a real risk, unless you have a faulty engine; one unlucky one out of many thousands; which, is warrantied anyway, so, you get a brand new engine when your unlucky one goes "BOOF!" To make things even more secure, Kia puts in that "limp mode" bypass for when we punch it to red line in manual (paddle shifter) mode: "No, you can't do that, I refuse", says the car. :D

I drive normally. I would not redline for an extended time early on.

Same with motorcycles: no long, hard pulls or lugging, and no sustained redlining.

I’m on the road all day with work, I go through a car every three years. Get in it drive it, and change the oil when the dash tells you to change it… I trade routinely Around 150,000 miles, never had an issue. 1.5 L turbos, naturally aspirated sixes, etc....fords, Honda’s etc. Don’t waste time worrying about what oil or how to drive it, just change oil and drive the damn thing

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
More important than dubious break in voodoo, sure mix up your RPMs and yeah probably don't redline nonstop in the first few hundred miles... but if your car was on the lot odds are it has been only redlined for it's first 30 miles. That said I doubt the redline fears have been relevant for quite some time.

Change your oil at around 1k, remove any metal fines from break-in + old oil that may have sat on the lot for 200+ days.
