What is our Kia Stinger hand gesture?

What should be the stinger's "secret handshake"

This is how you convince people you are driving a BMW.
BMW drivers are too smug for any gesture ,they just drive by , besides there are so many on the road that if they did adopt some form of hand signal there would be thousands of distracted drivers ........................the herd !!

Correct, if anything this convinces people you are in fact driving a Kia.

I've waved at other Stinger owners but it's either completely ignored or met with total bewilderment. When I had my Jeep, they always waved. Corvette, too. No love in the Stinger yet.
Same, I always get excited when I see another Stinger and I look to see the owner so I can give them a thumbs up but they usually just ignore me.

How could anyone take a thumbs up gesture for anything other than good That’s got my vote.
Haha I actually give the thumbs up when someone does something stupid or dangerous on the road now. I decided that flipping people off was not a wise idea some years ago.

Its a hard habbit to break (there are just so many terrible drivers out there and I like them to know it).

But, they tend to really freak out over here when you do it...a dump truck massively cut me off, i flipped the bird through my closed sunroof as I go around him (below the speed limit). He then speeds up, starts swerving into my lane and is trying to push me off the road. That was the final straw, I got to stop.

Yup. I found that if someone was willing to do something to me that was worthy of that particular response, they were probably going to freak out and do something worse if I flipped them off.

So many crazy people out there. Always safer to ignore them I suppose but that is so hard to do. So against my nature.

Just rewatch the opening scene in "Marathon Man", and it will help your resolve to become more firm. :P

Will do Merlin. Just wondering how you become a sustaining member on the forum. Or did they just run out of the total posts badges for you.

Merlin is the Commander of the Stinger Defense Force. Rear axle could literally fall out on the highway and he will still tell you its the greatest car ever built because its such a step up from his 1991 Buick Roadmaster.

Results are in, looks like we will be waving at each other. Thank you everyone!

I'm glad we could agree that honking is the most dangerous idea and should be avoided.

It just means someone has given Sal money for running the forum.

If you go to your forum account you can see the various options for giving money in exchange for the Sustaining Member badge.
