What did you pay for your Kia Stinger?

In freedom pesos that is like 33.75K at todays exchange rate all-in. Is that still bad?
No it isn’t bad, for sure. I paid $38k USD for my GT1 but it’s outfitted with everything a GT2 has minus the auto-open/close trunk and heads-up display from what I can tell.

Cool, sorry, mine is definitely the GT2.

You’re telling me you paid $33.5K USD equivalent for a GT2 out the door? I gotta see the proof. Pics or it didn’t happen lol

I'm likely confusing model names friend. In Canada we only get what Kia calls the GT-line, GT and GT Limited. Mine is a GT limited which includes all the options available to us here(3.3TT, AWD, 19" wheels, heated, powered, etc - Kia Canada - vehicles.stinger.modelrange).

Don't forget the part where it was a demo. It had roughly 4500KM on it when I picked it up. There are no finance costs associated with the deal so perhaps that brings it down a bit too. Snow white pearl, red interior. MSRP is 52K tax included in CAD or 39K USD. So ostensibly, 5K off list for a demo - not super unreasonable.

Not at all, makes sense now. That SOUNDS like a GT1 here but I could be wrong. nice job finding it

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I got an offer today for $38K purchase price on a 2019 GT2 AWD with a MSRP of 54K. 5.5K discount and 11K lease rebate. Is that a good deal? Final 'balance' including dealer fees and state taxes is $39.6K. I'm planning on buying out the lease, so the lease terms don't mean much to me.

Yeah seems good but being it’s a lease I’m sure what you pay in total will probably equal to what it would cost to own.

$38K pre-TTL is alright. May be able to go lower, although not sure if it's worth the effort and further delay of getting a Stinger. $39.6K after TTL is pretty good though. Where do you live? So low taxes.

I'm going to do the lease buyout, so the the lease interest for the first month, and financing interest payments totals are the only additional expenses AFAIK. NC taxes are only 3%

NC. The 1.5K diff has 1K of taxes in it..even for a lease

Anyone know how viable it would be to take the 0.9% APR for 60 months offer for the new 2020 models compared to leasing it?

It looks like I won't be able to get a big discount from MSRP but I want to keep my financing rate low.

I struggle with this, too. I don't want to fiddle around with the whole lease buyout process. It takes some time to do the math, but all you should genuinely be concerned about is how much money you're spending on the vehicle + interest rate of the loan.

End of the day who cares if your APR is in the 3's as opposed to 0's. If you're financing a $37k car at 3.9%-ish or a $40k car at 0% its essentially the same cost.

$37k (pre-tax)
$10k down
3.79% APR / 60 mo
$494.69/mo

$40k (pre-tax)
$10k down
0.0% APR / 60 mo
$500/mo

Depending on how your lease sheet is structure, part of it is tax on lease cash. Not sure what the other part is...

Does $36,500 ($48,715 MSRP) seem like a good price on a 2019 GT1 AWD? Over $9,000 off MSRP and another $3,000 off from Kia cash back offer.

Is this lease or financing? If it's leasing, you can do better. I'm at 16.5K off on a GT2 AWD with 54K MSRP for a 24/10K lease.

Oh wow, guess i should negotiate more then. This would be a finance. Are there currently better deals to be had on leasing than financing?

Yeah, 11K leasing incentive for 24months term. Read up on lease buyout in this forum.

Wow, that seems like one heck of a deal.

Can someone explain to me why the Kia Stinger is getting such heavy discounts? Are they not selling well or do they depreciate a ton?
