Hello DB,Hey everyone, I am shopping for a Stinger for my wife. I haven't been able to find much information about what people are paying for the base 2.0.L and\or Premium trim. If anyone has any numbers they could share, or could point me to somewhere else in the forum where I could find more info, it would be much appreciated. Thanks!
Car Dealers!!! So let's continue to treat the customer like a fool and see if we can rim 'em off with accessories (as if you don't know what this stuff costs). And then he won't buy any of it, and we'll cost the dealership additional sales.I just completed the purchase of a GT2 AWD. I live in South Carolina and purchased from Benson Kia in Spartanburg. The MSRP was $52,405. The final out the door price was $50,595. They had actually offered an out the door price of $49,845, but that required financing with 3.9%. I opted for the 60 month 0.9% financing, for which they required an additional $750 added to the purchase price.
I asked about adding remote start and puddle lights. Those upgrades are less than $500 each, I believe, based on the Build and Price option on the Kia website, but they quoted me like $1900 each for those options from a third party installer. I decided not to add them.
My dealer installed puddle lights between the time I signed the contract and the time I drove it off the lot the same day. $240. They only had one set in stock, which were reportedly destined for the manager's car, but which I got. They did take a lot of time, as no one at my dealer (or in CA, reportedly) had installed these on a Stinger before that day. They shouldn't have to be done 3rd party.I asked about adding remote start and puddle lights. And then there is the dealer that wants to treat the customer right, earn a great reputation and treat people right! Need more of these!!!My dealer installed puddle lights between the time I signed the contract and the time I drove it off the lot the same day. $240. That’s what I thought, they should have been able to add them. Maybe I’ll raise the issue again after they’ve sold a few more. Well, the program is $299 a month with $2,999 down. Divide the $2,999 by 36 months and add that to your monthly $299 and it's another $83 a month, or $382 a month. So they rolled most of your down payment into the monthly, but not all of it. Clipped off about $180.I leased a base model, no money down for $377 a month for 36. Probably could have done a bit better if I waited (got it the day they hit the lot) but I’m pretty happy with my deal.

A local dealer is taking off around $1,500 off the price of the the base vehicle price to start the lease with, which isn't bad.
You probably did okay, as it's pretty hard right now to move numbers around, especially on a program lease from corporate.
Oh wow, sorry to hear that's the kind of dealer it was. Ugh. Well, at least you got through it and got the car! Now go drive! ; ) Congrats!Yeah the issue I ran into is most the dealers around me wanted markups even on the base models plus $800 dealer fees, $200 doc fees, and a $1900 “appearance package”. They must all talk to each other cause all 4 had the same “package”. I figured I ended up basically paying sticker less the Kia rebate and all the dealer fluff was removed. Just required several hours of back and forth plus getting up and walking out lol!
thats a great deal. zero out of pocket?I leased a base model, no money down for $377 a month for 36. Probably could have done a bit better if I waited (got it the day they hit the lot) but I’m pretty happy with my deal.
A local dealer in Salem, OR is taking off over $1000 from the $2,999 down, and leaving the $299 a month figure. Maybe a bit of work and they'll come off the MSRP a wee bit?I leased a base model, no money down for $377 a month for 36. Welcome aboard, @Bear! Thank you for signing up. And congratulations on your brand new Stinger GT! What car did it replace?Fully loaded red on black nappa GT2 AWD 3.3 TT for $49,500 (MSRP $52,300). Was looking for blue on grey, but they're hard to find and then again...the grey isn't nappa leather...which can make quite the difference.
