What did you pay for your Kia Stinger?

Looking for some thoughts here.

I've got a 2018 GT1 with drive assist (red on red) down to $37,800 before taxes/fees after $3000 competitive incentive. (MSRP on their website shows $46,200 but the paperwork shows $43xxx...not sure why but I think they adjusted msrp to equal the invoice.) Will also be getting 0% for 66 months with no down. I've got the paper work all filled out but there were a few decent scratches so it will be detailed and I can take delivery tomorrow. If the scratches don't buff out then I'll either see if I can get a little more off or walk.

Originally wanted just a GT but there are none remotely nearby with driver assist and that was a must have for me. Seems like a good deal to me but wondering your thoughts? Thanks!

-what’s your location?
-2019 GT is probably similar in price as 2018 GT1 w/ drive wise. 2019 Gt comes with blind spot and rear cross alert standard. still missing sunroof, upgraded stereo, nav and other tech.
-Make sure the 2018 paint scratches are really scratches, and not paint/clear coat failures. Not sure if you’re aware of the paint problems on some of the 2018s

Thanks. I’m in SoCal. I have read about some of the paint issues but what’s the easiest way to tells if it’s the clear coat? I know the car was built in 2018 based on the VIN but will need to check which month.

Thread is over 100 page long. At least scroll through some pictures for common location like under headlight assembly ect. Good luck, hope you come home with the car you want today. Discussion of Stinger paint quality (Was - Paint Chip Issue)
Here's one from Norcal Vehicle details - 2018 Kia Stinger at Kia Marin Novato - Kia Marin

Went to Koons Kia website to do my daily rounds of searching for the price on a gt stinger. And all I can say is wow... they are getting rid of 2019 base gt stingers for $31841... what a great deal...

Thanks, have read through some of that thread but will look some more. There were some marks on the car that could have just been water spots but it didn’t look like the chipping in a lot of the pictures so hopefully it just neededed to be detailed. I’ll certainly take a closer look at some of the problem spots near the headlights and top of the hatch before accepting delivery.

Re: the link to the vehicle at Kia Mariin. It’s pretty much the price I have but I was able to get in touch with someone there and they are factoring in the additional $2500 for financing at 3.9% with KMF so it's not as competitive since I've got 0% for 66 months. I'm sure they may be able to come down a little lower if I was there in person but don't know if they would come down another $2500. Was pretty sure I got at least a pretty good deal but wanted some resassurance since I started to get second thoughts on if I should have tried to push a little lower. It didn't seem like there was much more they could do but you never know. At the end of the day, I won't care about the couple hundred dollars so long as the paint is fine.

I thought the $6,500 rebate only applied to 2018 models?

2019s have less lease cash than their 2018 counter parts. The lease cash on the same car he got would have been $8000 if it was a 2018(November/December numbers)

KIA finance gave me 0.9 financing for 72 months on the Stinger and 0% financing on the Sorento for 75 months and no payments for 90 days. And while I did trade in a vehicle when I got the Sorento, I had nothing down for the Stinger.

All the dealers I've spoken to have offered a 0-0.9% finance option but that didn't come with the $2000 finance incentive. To get that you had to do the 2.9% financing.
