What did you pay for your Kia Stinger?

Hi Everyone,
Got a quote for stinger premium RWD with driver assist. Went to lease the vehicle but the dealer told me they can't lease the vehicle for some unknown reasons. The out of door pricing is $33000 including the basic accessories such as floor mat, splash guard and wheel locks.
My question is if I lease this vehicle and then buy it out, how much will I save ? The selling price for this vehicle in the dealer site is $36250.

The Premium MSRP is $37k and the DriveWise package is +$2k. Sounds like a great deal to me if there aren't hidden charges.

Maybe they're motivated to sell with the 2019s around the corner. 2019 Premiums have a lot of value added (though I don't know the price).

I have a lease quote for a premium AWD with Drive wise package. The dealer is quoting me $31,438 with all rebates before taxes, title, registration etc. I did find out that is with window etching and and a money factor of .00269 which I think is a bit high so I am working on him to get that lowered and the window etching to be taken off.

I plan to do what a lot of people are doing and do the lease and then buy it out. Anybody have any thoughts on the price? I know this has been asked before but this is my first time doing a lease and then a buyout and want to make sure I am not missing anything.

I got about 10.2% off MSRP ($52,580), GT2 AWD, then with the $7900 lease cash and $1000 AWD bonus I was OTD at around $41,000. Plan on paying off/buying out car so lease cash was a sweet deal either way.

Yes you can. You are only doing the lease to get the massive lease cash offer (7900 right now) instead of the 2000 cash rebate for financing. Once your lease show up on KMF - you buy out your lease. You can set up a financing with your own bank to pay off the lease.

I am really dumb on these deals.. I searched my area (DC/VA/MD) i didnt see any lease offers? Even the kia website doesnt show the 7900 lease. Can you walk through how you did it? For example, i built a GT2 worth 53k.... Now what? Do i go to dealer, negotiate on price first - lets say 47k OTD. Then ask for lease and mention the 7900 off? And whats KMF? I guess i take a loan out for the remainder from a bank and pay off Kia and now i own the car? Is this encouraged by the dealer?

No you ask for the lease cash BUT negotiate the car first. They tried negotiating with me based off incentive... I said no. I want you to beat 10% off msrp or I’m going local elsewhere lol. So they did... THEN we applied the lease cash and AWD money.

Dealer doesn’t care what you do, they sold a car. Kia assumes most will pay out the lease and they get to resell a car.

But where is this lease cash? i dont see it advertised? And how come you didnt ask for 13%? isnt 10% easy to ask? Did you bargain any extras? And did you mention you want to lease first?

And i thought once you pay off lease you return the car??? i am confused...

Dude... I’m just telling you the deal I got lol, I’m not sure how else to help you. The lease cash is available and there, if you can go get 13% then go get it. Nobody is stopping you.

Ok, can you explain how to buy the car part? So you go to dealer, negotiate price as a lease, then apply the lease bonus. Then you immediately pay off the lease and then you buy the car?

GT2 RWD, fully loaded @ $60,500US after taxes and fees, this include 2,500K upside down for a trade-in and 1,300 in options. So, in essence the out the door prices without the trade in and extra would have been. $56,700US with taxes and fees.

Negotiate the car as you would any car man, then just tell them you want the lease deal. It’s $7900 lease cash and $1000 for AWD. You can then ride the lease out and give it back, get a new loan if you find a better rate from a local bank or pay it off. That’s really it.

To US buyers there is a Florida dealer claiming up to $6,500 in savings for a GT2 Stinger 2019. If your in the area or looking to buy one you may want to call these people nd ask them to fax you a quote and the present that to the dealership in your area to negotiate the price. When I purchase my car I didn't saw any deals.
