GT1 in 2021 went for 47k sticker, with less than the GT1 the year before had.Yeah, had my eyes set on at least a gt1 back then, they were going for about 41k, gt2 was 46k new at the time in my area. A new gt-line car can almost cost that much now, crazy.
I'm referring to when I was looking in 2020 for a new model. Those were the prices in my area. But I think you meant how the 2022 model got refreshed and cost more but had less?GT1 in 2021 went for 47k sticker, with less than the GT1 the year before had.
That's crazy, so glad I bought mine for WAYYY under invoice in 2019. I would not pay $21k more (before taxes) for this vehicle.Just went to the dealership to pickup some pink OEM coolant and saw a 2023 Stinger, Ceramic Silver w/Red Int, GT2 AWD, on their display floor. They had it at $61,200 before taxes and fees. Out the door price I’m sure is closer to $70,000.

CarMax fan here, sold 2 cars to them in the last 12 months...fair prices, easy process^^Try vroom. carvana.
Considering the wild world we live in, 3.9% APR is a pretty solid rate.Got a ‘23 stinger gt line awd. White exterior and red interior with sun and sound. Car was 45 but 47 all in all with taxes, title etc… did 3k cash down and traded in my K5 which they appraised for 25k (still owed 17 something) 3.9 apr and $599 monthly for 72 mths. Located in Utah.
70k... That's entering M/Amg/Rs territory. Stupid Kia.Just went to the dealership to pickup some pink OEM coolant and saw this 2023 Stinger, Ceramic Silver w/Red Int, GT2 AWD, on their display floor. They had it at $61,200 before taxes and fees. Out the door price I’m sure is closer to $70,000.
My point exactly. It's not even the tribute edition.70k... That's entering M/Amg/Rs territory. Stupid Kia.
Didn't you prenegotiate the price/buyout? This should certainly be in your paperwork, but a call to Kia Finance would easily yield the answer too.i have a stupid question. is... what i can buy the car for after i finish paying the lease off.... the current buyout price minus the what i have left to pay on the lease?
This is brutal. I thought mark ups were starting to go down.Just went to the dealership to pickup some pink OEM coolant and saw this 2023 Stinger, Ceramic Silver w/Red Int, GT2 AWD, on their display floor. 72k that's f*cking nuts! Hell, 54k is about 10 grand too much as well. Compared to when I bought my car. Man, if I didn't by my Stinger new when I did in 2020, there's definitely no way I'd own one new in this market, absolutely crazy. This is brutal. I thought mark ups were starting to go down.
When I got mine a little over a year ago they had it listed for $72k Before taxes and fees. I ended up paying sticker (54k).
Same thing that happened to the early/mid-90s Japanese sports cars: they went from mid/high-20s, competing with the Mustang and Camaro, to mid-40s, exceeding the Corvette. Supra, 300ZX, and 3000GT all died this way.72k that's f*cking nuts! Hell, 54k is about 10 grand too much as well. Compared to when I bought my car. Were you dealing with Planet or Union County? Planet has more inventory but Union is advertising cheaper. I live in southwest Virginia, and I'll have to go to one of these to test drive a GT2. No GT2s in my area. Only a used 22.2023 GT2 AWD, ceramic silver with the suede GT package. $57k OTD.
I had an offer from another nearby dealer for a 2023 GT2 AWD ascot green, beige interior for $56k OTD.
This is in Charlotte, NC. Hope this data point helps some folks in the area.
