What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

"Installed" the K&N drop ins this morning. I wasn't sure it was needed at first, but it definitely helps with throttle response from a stop.

Did you put on the sticker that says "STOP, DO NOT DISCARD"? But in all seriousness, you actually notice a difference with the K&N? The co. claims boost HP and acceleration - and you say it does do this?

I tried to "install" the sticker, but it wouldn't stick!

I'm not sure about boost HP, but I definitely feel better acceleration from stop to go. Basically, when I was at a light before I'd feather it to go and it wouldn't go right away. Now it seems that when I feather it I actually go. My opinion, if you got $100 US to throw at it...it's worth it for the stop to go, that's about that.

Nice. I've thrown plenty of $$$ at this car already....another $100 won't kill the wallet, and at least it's more environmentally friendly in that it can be reused. I'm also interested to know if you'd get some improved fuel economy out of it. I guess time will tell.

Got her all washed and waxed for a car show tomorrow. Then ordered door striker catch plates in chrome and a Stinger logo for the steering wheel.

Today I...

1) Checked my tire pressure, and found the dealer didn't deflate from the boat, so took the 54psi tires (yikes!) down to 36/38
2) Tested the breaking point of the 19" Pilot Sports in the wet (they lose traction around a corner surprisingly quickly, sliding the whole car). I also spotted another Stinger while out in the boonies.
3) Picked up the cargo mat, which has the best two step instructions ever; "Step 1: Place cargo mat in trunk. Step 2: Installation complete." I also picked up the front mud guards, and will put those on tomorrow.
4) Picked up a polish and finisher kit, and a gel armrest pad at AutoZone. It's super comfy and protects an otherwise frequently touched surface
5) Found it's simple to remove the floor mats (slide your hand under the mat, lifting your hand up and moving towards the hook)
