Never had to utilise the hammer on my AFE pipe believe it or not, I don't how how or why but I loosened all clamps pushed and pulled and twisted the pipework for nearly 30 min's and now I have 1/2"clearance at the top and 1/2" at the bottom ?
Tightened everything and went for a lap and the rubbing is gone... yay fk'n cars!!
I also decided to rearrange my shin bone first thing this morning , I put this on yesterday just incase my car failed me on the track but I think it was karma for not believing in her
So this past weekend have her the 27k oil change. Everything went swimmingly except...
...The experiment with the LiFePo4 battery is over. 3 separate times the BMS system tripped on me. One time even in traffic leaving me without power to shift into neutral in the middle of the road without getting out my emergency jumper. This weekend somehow the battery drained itself while I was changing the oil. Doors were shut, I don't think any lights were on (to tell the truth I was UNDER the car, not looking into her most of the time). Even trying to use my emergency jumper and tender/trickle charger to get enough juice into it to crank it over proved fruitless. I'm not sure if it's the current draw (which is not much when of--maybe 10-15 amps max when the car is on, no engine running, and the radio on), bad battery, or what, but I got an AGM to replace it and she's working as she should.
I'll miss the extra MPG I get, but even though the OEM battery was reading 11.4V with the car on/engine not running with all the accessories before I replaced it--she always started up just fine.
I order stuff from China nearly every week I swear it turns up before I even put my phone down lol... but ordering stuff from the states yeh im about to give up on that quest
I feel i post tooo much... but while I sit here dealing with all the fibres stuck in my fingers and arms after today I figure meh if I'm feeling the pain I want you to feel it too...
