Just got done washing my thick girl! Lol. Cant do anything during the day w/ this Texas heat. I don’t mind washing her when the sun goes down. Kinda always been a habit since high school. Saves me from having to rush while washing. No sun means no water water spots when it’s time to dry off. Plus I don’t get exhausted. I’m about to be 48 guys. Gotta pick the battles I can win. Lmao!

Today I got my car back perfectly restored. I could show an "after" picture, but it wouldn't show anything. Ha hah. Total cost was $1,408.66. I paid the $500 deductible.

Have you done any driving yet to monitor how much the intercooler lowered your AIT? Just normal driving for me w/ the stock intercooler are usually 10-15 degrees above the temp on the dash. And that’s monitoring it off the JB4 app.

I'm sure it dropped but I didn't get a before and after. My goal was to lower intake temps to reduce knock.

Bit the bullet and finally fitted some snorkels... Then I thought phuck it time to get rid of the shadow chrome, so the grilles are coming out getting disassembled and I will paint them Black and then Carbon dip them.

Oops missed the 'Supra' post...

I see BMS are selling a hot and cold side intake kit... wish I found that before I bought this AFE kit.

I am actually taking a sledgehammer to it today to stop it rubbing on my chassis.

I have the slightest annoying hum constantly and the steel is already rubbing thru the alloy pipe so only one thing left to do and I really don't want to do it but anyway...

If I shorten the bottom coupler it rubs on the radiator fan shroud, if I shorten the top coupler it rubs hard on the frame underneath and this doesn't even account for the bracket that bolts to the hot side pipes which needs bending as well !!!
At least then I can header wrap the pipes because even though they are coated, goddam they get hot !!

the BMS pipes don't address the turbo outlet connection Y pipe like the AFe does...

Wiped down the engineroom in both Stingers, including the underside of the hood.

I've seen the videos of people taking the bumper off and it doesn't look crazy hard to complete.

Headlight replacements require it, so I watched it and figured its not too much work. I'll watch again just to be sure lol
