What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

Nothing yet... But the last of the parts arrived for the next project!

Do yourself a favor and get a set of these for the fronts.

"LARGE EBC ANTI SQUEAL SELF ADHESIVE BRAKE PAD SHIMS NOISE REDUCTION 152mm x 51mm"

Ask me how I know........ ;)

Oooooh, that's a good sign. Been waiting on my DBA front Rotors for several weeks now. Maybe they shipped some out. Got the rears and the pads, just need the fronts.

I ordered the full set of rotors a while ago - was waiting on EBC redstuff rear pads, but ended up cancelling them, and switching to the DBA rear pads 'cause I couldn't wait any longer lol. Hopefully yours arrive soon.

A bit of a tune today. Sorry, the text is in Czech, but the numbers should make sense to everyone :)

258,7kW (347HP) stock to 310,2kW (416HP)
561,5Nm stock to 624,6Nm

All this on 95 octane, kinda forgot that I should fill up on 100 octane and my tank was already full .. meh.

I dropped my Stinger off to get my JB4 put in, plugs changed, brakes upgraded, BMS Intercooler, tranny fluid and diff fluid change
Dropped off? Hmmm, stealership or shop?

Nice. you may even be able to get more considering your octane is higher then what the USA typically uses, and we are pushing more power. it also depends on supporting mods though.

Got the duckbill delivered and installed. Something about red and carbon fiber just look sexy imho. It’s the Ark C-FX and fitment is perfect, no weird gaps in the panels. I think it looks perfect! But I now feel like it needs a few more subtle carbon pieces haha

Installed the Maxton Design Spoiler Extension after immediately returning the Spoiler King. Wasn't a fan of the rubber and wanted gloss black. Although when ordering this spoiler in gloss black, only the top is painted and not the back. Oh well, still like it.

Now I just need to replace the Stinger badge, the GT badge (KDMwarehouse is the only one I found and it is $40... yikes...), and exhaust tips from chrome to black. Anyone recommend where to get exhaust tips and the GT badge in black?

Most people get the tips from aliexpress.
For the stock size oval, no one seems to have any at a reasonable price.

You can spray the gt badge with black Plasti-dip for a cheaper alternative.

I’ve Plasti-dipped emblems when I had a civic and it looks a little tacky for my taste. I’ve even tried the gloss dip and it doesn’t compare to actual gloss paint.

My wife’s civic sport came with all chrome badges and Honda sold a kit that replaced all badges to gloss black. Honestly it looks professional and clean like it came stock which is what I’m going for.

I got the stinger script emblem for the trunk from ebay for maybe $12-13 or so. looks good. The GT emblem should just be shaved IMO. It just doesn't match very well.

Took it for one last ride. To the dealer to pick up my Tesla Model Y Long Range. Sure hated to give it up, it was the best car I ever owned. But the world is moving on. Gas at 4$ / gallon is livable. But electric will be about 10% of that and insurance will be the killer. Self driving vehicles accident rate will be so much lower, the insurance for them will be cheap by comparison. The pool of people who want to continue driving themselves will be the ones with accidents and I forecast insurance for them will reach $15,000 or $20,000 per year, completely out of reach for me. So sadly, I have to make the move to an EV now. Here's a pic. {I did try to post this a couple of days ago, but apparently it didn't take.}

You have all been a great help over the years and lots of fun. Best wishes everyone.
