Then this will give you a coronary .
I just washed the car and stopped at the grocery store. In the pics, you can see the access salt that the car is parked on. It covers the entire parking lot . I wish she wasn't my daily but she is. It's near impossible to keep a car clean in Chicago this time of year. I'm down to 1 car wash every 10 days or so and since it's been sub freezing temps here, Touchless car wash with an under carriage blast is the best I can do. Yeah, plus with a number of them, it doesn’t really seem “cold air”.
Also, until recently, none were CARB certified, even though in California we have 8 years from new before smog checks come in.
Still like stock look in case dealer gets weird about it.
Absolutely. There is a visual inspection as well as the tailpipe sniffer. The machine also connects to the OBDII port to check for codes.
Although I have to admit I haven't needed to get a smog check in years, partly because all my vehicles are new enough (new vehicles are exempt for 8 years from date of purchase) and I also live in one of the small handful of counties that don't require bi-annual smog checks. You still have to get a smog check when selling it though.
Man, this makes me wish I took a picture of my red Stinger a Few weeks back. I live in NH, and drive about 60ish miles a day round trip for work. This year someone in the winter road safety division must have done some serious drugs when they where calculating how much salt was needed on the roads, because by the time I got home, my RED stinger was completely white. Literally. from more than 10 feet away, you could not tell at all that it was actually red. The car wash after the roads cleared up a bit was SOOOO satisfying though.
So far, so good. But we haven't seen any real cold weather this season yet. Still in 20s. Hopefully extra couple coats of clear and ppf gave some extra protection. Otherwise i'll have some frozen tears on my face.

I hear ya! I worry from the other side of the equation. SWFL sun just pounding on mine all the time. Im lazy and haven't gotten it ppf'd yet. Well actually a bad case of broke ass to be honest.
Installed the Injen intakes today. Haven’t had a chance to drive it yet however. Install took all of an hour and a half with all children constantly interrupting too! Ha!

A couple of members have installed those and found the double-sided tape isn't strong enough to keep them attached. Would you mind keeping us informed about whether yours fall off?
