A fu**ing dog bit my Stinger.
I was on a tiny mountain road in between some villages and there was this huge herd of sheep crossing the road. I waited patiently for them to pass but one of these shepherd dogs was very upset with my car starting to creep forward and decided to bite it... 2 times.
It looks the same underneath the bumper. He clipped it pretty well but fortunately did not penetrate. This will be a very funny exchange with my insurer. I will also need to make a drawing of the incident...

The winter tires are 40 profile instead of 45, but I had them lying around and they were close enough to use on this car. Supposedly 1/2” smaller diameter, but doesn’t seem to sit lower, just the tires don’t fill the wells obviously. Yes, I know its 1/2” lower. Was pretty sketchy yesterday on my AS on ice. No problems now for the rest of winter.

I'd have to go back and look, but I thought my calcs told me 1/2" lower and I meant radius.

That would be an OD of 1" smaller, so 1/2" lower alright. That should be a visible difference (and potentially dangerous: if my car had been 1/2" lower when I high centered on that median on PCH three years ago, the difference would have trashed hardware and not merely the undercarriage panels).

First on Friday I drove up to NY for the Stung by Kia - Spooked by Kia event. Was a great day and won a $25 Gift Card to K8Stinger Store, as well as took home a plaque for "Longest Drive".
Second on Sunday, drove down to PA for the Beastcoast Motorsports event hosted by Advanced Auto. Took home Best Female car.
Was a long weekend but had a great time. Those New York roads though!! Not to mention the NY drivers!! omg.

Son was getting his senior pictures taken by a friend. Said friend wanted to take a couple shots of the Stinger. He's an aspiring photographer, he likes to shoot cool cars and post them on his Instagram and hadn't heard of the Stinger before. His family owns only Honda's. Needless to say, the car impressed him. Took him on a bit of a joy ride and he couldn't believe how fast the car was. Couple pics he took of the car. He also wants to shoot the Lightning as the only one he's heard of is the new EV version. The other better pics I couldn't upload, too large a file I think?
