What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

I used one of these on the furthest part out of the mirror. Required a little bit of force and thankfully didn't fly out and smack into the door window.
This plus there’s a couple videos on YouTube about it. Never tried it but can’t be that bad. If you’re extra careful like me, I’d use masking tape to buffer the paint around the mirror glass.

It is a little unnerving trying to get the mirror out. It seems like you are prying so hard that it will break, then bam, it cuts loose.

Definitely a spooky scenario. I couldn't keep prying on mine. My brain wouldn't let me....I ended up just prying the mirror out enough to get a screwdriver in to undo them

^^Ironically, my last speeding ticket was in swanson co, NC, about 3 months after getting my G back in 2012. Cost a good arm and a leg to get out of it without points (as an out of state driver).

How did the officer know i was out of state... front plate... Is 16 over really speeding......
I got a Warning ticket Easter weekend - 73 in a 45. It was in the middle of the night in the middle of nowhere Florida. I had just left a 4 way stop. If he had stopped me sooner or later, it would have definitely been a ticket. The officer spent a little additional time just looking at the car and giving her some compliments.

I drove over to Ocala, FL from Jax after work last night (1.5 hrs) and put her in a car show. Only Stinger there. It stormed as I was entering town but stopped by time I got to the show site. Spent the first 30-40 minutes drying her off and wiping her down. I have no outside Kia logos so many were asking me what it was. Had a few come back 2 or 3 times to look at her again. A Mustang owner in the show said he wants to replace his car with a Stinger.

Had my first full oil change today. Liquid Moly was used. In addition, I got my ADRO V2 Front Splitter installed as well. If anyone is in the So Cal area Will and the rest of the staff did some great work. Have a customer for life now!

It made the whole car look different honestly!! Did you put anything on the splitter to protect it or just left it as is?

Installed the Quik-Latch pins on my car. Went with the smaller QL-25 size. Had to get a bit creative with putting the pins in. Got longer M8 threaded pins and in place of the front strut bar bolts which also required me to use some M8 helicoils which just so happen to work in the original M10x1.25 threaded holes. So everything is totally reversible if I wish, well other than the holes in the hood. Don't mind the messy garage.

Got me a JB4 kit last week. Just waiting on my Fuel line adapters to arrive today then I can install the unit.
You change the plugs yet?

Hmm so there is a smart Mustang owner after all.

First wash since getting her in May (never got dirty enough to where some quick detail wouldn't cut it). Almost had a heart attack when something peeled off the window edges..... Well I missed the black protectant tape for months. Digging the additional black chrome now :D

Back in the garage so no pics.

I would ceramic coat or get a good wax on the newly exposed trim... it is prone to discolouration
Guess that is something I will do in about two weeks. I had the whole car ceramic coated but I will just do the splitter myself then. Thank you for your input.

Are the vents real?
Yes, although how effective they are is to be debated. They open up into the hood cavity and theres other holes on the underside they can pull air out of but its not a direct route for heat extraction.

My fwd air deflector said "oh look, a penny!' and turned itself inside out at 85mph.

Pushed the wheelwell liners into the tires for some bonus damage.

Rigged up a makeshift cover last night, hope it holds until I can get a replacement.
