Thanks. Will give it a try in the near future.
This plus there’s a couple videos on YouTube about it. Never tried it but can’t be that bad. If you’re extra careful like me, I’d use masking tape to buffer the paint around the mirror glass.I used one of these on the furthest part out of the mirror. Required a little bit of force and thankfully didn't fly out and smack into the door window.
Definitely a spooky scenario. I couldn't keep prying on mine. My brain wouldn't let me....I ended up just prying the mirror out enough to get a screwdriver in to undo themIt is a little unnerving trying to get the mirror out. It seems like you are prying so hard that it will break, then bam, it cuts loose.
I got a Warning ticket Easter weekend - 73 in a 45. It was in the middle of the night in the middle of nowhere Florida. I had just left a 4 way stop. If he had stopped me sooner or later, it would have definitely been a ticket. The officer spent a little additional time just looking at the car and giving her some compliments.^^Ironically, my last speeding ticket was in swanson co, NC, about 3 months after getting my G back in 2012. Cost a good arm and a leg to get out of it without points (as an out of state driver).
How did the officer know i was out of state... front plate... Is 16 over really speeding......
It made the whole car look different honestly!! Did you put anything on the splitter to protect it or just left it as is?I did that splitter!
Are the vents real? The Seibon hood came in unannounced today. Thankfully the hood was fine despite how the box looked. Actually not too bad looking with my paint.View attachment 62770View attachment 62771
You change the plugs yet?Got me a JB4 kit last week. Just waiting on my Fuel line adapters to arrive today then I can install the unit.
Hmm so there is a smart Mustang owner after all.I drove over to Ocala, FL from Jax after work last night (1.5 hrs) and put her in a car show. Only Stinger there. It stormed as I was entering town but stopped by time I got to the show site. Spent the first 30-40 minutes drying her off and wiping her down. I have no outside Kia logos so many were asking me what it was. Had a few come back 2 or 3 times to look at her again. A Mustang owner in the show said he wants to replace his car with a Stinger.
Guess that is something I will do in about two weeks. I had the whole car ceramic coated but I will just do the splitter myself then. Thank you for your input.I would ceramic coat or get a good wax on the newly exposed trim... it is prone to discolouration
Yes, although how effective they are is to be debated. They open up into the hood cavity and theres other holes on the underside they can pull air out of but its not a direct route for heat extraction. Are the vents real?
