Did you remove the mirror glass or just move it out of the way ?Blacked out the mirror caps, side vents and some chrome trim!
I just did my side vents too. I used gloss black spray paint. it's decent, but definitely not piano black. It's not eye catching. My door trim was already painted.Blacked out the mirror caps, side vents and some chrome trim!

Yes, totally understood that. I was moreMy point above (if not obvious), is to try to attract minimal LEO attention. This car already looks different than most others on the road, not to mention the goofy colors (like ceramic silver or the bright orange). So try to remain as inconspicuous as possible if engaging in hooliganism.

In the Commiewealth of Virginia anything over 80 or 20 over limit is reckless driving. So if it was a 65 limit you’d be boned.^^Ironically, my last speeding ticket was in swanson co, NC, about 3 months after getting my G back in 2012. Cost a good arm and a leg to get out of it without points (as an out of state driver).
How did the officer know i was out of state... front plate... Is 16 over really speeding......
Any tips on removing the mirror glass? Tools, location to pry or whatever? I tried recently to use a suction cup thing to pull mine out and that didn't work.I detached the mirror to access the two screws holding the mirror cap on to remove it and paint it that way.
I used one of these on the furthest part out of the mirror. Required a little bit of force and thankfully didn't fly out and smack into the door window.Any tips on removing the mirror glass?
