What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

I ceramic coated the wheels last night, and today I buffed them again to make sure all excess has been removed. =)
edit: Oh and I also ceramic coated the calipers. I did not bother buffing the calipers though.
Tonight's project: ceramic coat more under-hood components.

PPF met it's match today.
Damn you random highway debris!

Update:

The glass company was able to get approval from my auto insurer and ordered Kia OEM glass for my vehicle. I have an appointment next week to have my windshield replaced. Yay!
Update:

Auto glass company still has not received the new OEM windshield. It was supposed to have arrived on Monday at dealership. Must be coming from Korea and also part of the many product shortages due to COVID. Maybe someday I will have a new windshield.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Road construction left a 3 inch sharp edge on the interstate where they stopped digging out the old asphalt .. like wth, who thinks it's fine to leave such a sharp edge on the road ... Completely ripped two holes in the sidewall and may have bent the wheel a tiny bit on the inside . Not sure yet ..

Installed the JA AirScoops. Get them from KDM Warehouse before they’re gone.

Added 525 miles to the odometer.... Finally popped its cherry on a worthy roadtrip. Getting more comfortable in the corners.

Now you just need mirror caps and side vents to match the front and back.
Looks really good though !

Put the tail light center black tint on. Looks pretty good. A lot of micro bubbles but those should fade with time

Gave it a good wash after weekend's road trip. That front end is just a nightmare to get all the bugs out. I'm not going to sit there with a tooth brush!@#

+ no rock chips or other damage. Keeping the 10 car following distance is working :)

After driving in the rain, water is somehow getting in the the door sills (bottom part where one steps over when entering/exiting) front and rear.

The painted rocker panels? Yea it gets pretty dirty in the rain ...

Took the vehicle out for a quick photo shoot. Over the past few months I got the M&S Lip kit installed, blacked-out the rear emblems and had the chrome trim replaced (kept the black shipping film on haha).

Update:

Had a new appointment for windshield replacement today. The glass company called me last Friday to say the dealership received the new OEM windshield and moldings. Today the glass company calls me to tell me that the dealer did not have the moldings like they said they did. So now we are waiting on that to arrive at the dealer as well so my windshield can finally be replaced. What a nightmare this has been.

Competence and initiative rarely exist any more.......
I knew this was going to be a hassle and that's why I waited as long as I did to finally claim the windshield replacement on my insurance. Then I also had the expectation that with all the shortages due to COVID that it would be even worse to try to get new parts. Nothing about windshield replacements seems to be simple anymore. If I had a basic vehicle (like my older Honda Accord that I replaced with my Stinger) with no HUD or sensors I would have just gone with the aftermarket non-OEM windshield and been done with it.

Did not do anything to her, but 3 years and 55K miles of problem free ownership, with quite a few mods a long the way...

Love this car more today then when I first got her 3 years ago.

who would you able to contact and complain to about that?

I find it disgusting when there is work on the roads that leaves nails and shrapnel and other debris laying around that damage vehicles...
