What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

That’s great! A dash cam is a must. Auto manufacturers should make this a mandatory accessory.
Yeah. I’ve been running with the front and interior but finally hardwired it all in to include the rear. Amazing the crap you miss when you’re parked!

Shiny!

After the first 8,800 miles on my 2019 GT2 AWD I got tired of the brake shuddering. I bought R1 Concepts Optimum OEp front and rear brake pads with new hardware a few months ago when there was the 30% off promotion in mid-March. Got it all for $127.37 shipped.

Bedded the new brakes in and so far so good. No more shuddering. Hopefully this means the issue is permanently fixed. Will have to do more driving to find out.

Looking at your pics, you kept the stock rotors. So the pads go bad pretty quick, but the rotors stay in good shape?

I keep hearing about the OE pads being awful, but wasn't sure if they damaged the rotors too. I only have a little over 5,000 miles on mine so far, but I'm keeping an eye on them.

Yes, kept the stock rotors since after 8,800 miles they should still have plenty of life left. The OEM brake pads i removed still had plenty of life left too.

I drove 80 miles yesterday and there were no more issues with the pulsating brake pedal and steering wheel when braking. So far my Stinger brakes and feels like it always should have with the new aftermarket pads.

Got these today finally, going on sometime soon for sure! Endlinks are so much heavier and thicker than stock.

Great upgrade! Before you install the sways do some "spirited" corners... then repeat the route after... sways are a game changer... you might hurt your face from smiling ;)

I finally ordered a set of floor mats from TuxMat. Wow!
I paid 199 usd for the full set and I have to say, I will be getting a set for my wife's car as well. They are fantastically well thought out and incredibly well made. The fact that they have such a large area of coverage is also a definite plus. No more puling mats out and going nuts with a vacuum to get all the dirt and rocks that fall off them. Seriously happy with the purchase and highly recommended. : )

Oo that’s cool.

Installed the Crinkle Red Injen CAI. Man, did I have to wrestle with the fitment on this one. The passenger side turbo hookup is clamped at about a 30* angle, not too bad, but not great. The driver side was a nightmare, the 10mm hose provided was probably 4 in. too long and about .5mm too wide, so it slid right on loosely. The 12mm hose to the crank case was also about 2 in. too long, and was an absolute beast to eliminate the kink. Had to cut both. Finally, neither filter is pointed straight away at the intake hole from the JA Scoops, instead pointed downward a bit, seems sub-optimal.

The sound is great, though. Strong turbo fan rev and the blow off sound is awesome. Should pair really nicely with my next project, installing an MBRP Pro exhaust, in a few weeks.

Something I read a couple of hours ago reminded me, that I had forgotten, to keep my promise to myself and check on the psi of my spare donut. Good thing! It was well below 30 psi (after over three years, heh). So, it's back up to 60 psi.

Weekend plans arrived today. A lil carbon fiber lurking in that box

Hey where did you get your CF fender vents from?
Rear faux vents came from.....Import Shark. Use at your own risk sounds like I was lucky.
Front fender and hood ones I believe were from K8. I’m not a fan of them either.
Rear diffuser was from Khartunerz. Best buying experience of the three.
Cheers

Changed oil @ 2000 miles. Mobil 1 5w30 extended performance.
