What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

No shame in making mistakes. Even less so admitting them. There isn't a single person on the board that hasn't had a head slap moment.

Changed my IKH24 plugs to IKH27 plugs yesterday since I was getting a cylinder 3 misfire code. The IKH24s lasted about 15k miles on JB4 map 2.
Here is a pic of the cracked plug missing most of the center electrode. Hopefully the 2 step colders last longer.
I believe Terry said to expect the same life spam for these one ... but still cheaper than the other vesion

I didnt like the blackout and the smoke on Panthera Metal actually looks good ! I am going to buy it. Do I need any of the kit ?
I highly recommend the pro felt squeegee. Other than that you can make your own spray solution and I think everyone has a razor blade lying around the house or order from them.

Finally got around to installing my brake vent screens. Turned out to be much easier than I expected. Turned the wheels, popped out 3 clips and the top mud flap screw on each side and was able to position them behind the cover. I was surprised at the amount of sand and small gravel inside the vent.

I never liked the brushed aluminun finish in the center console. It didn't match with the piano black finish of the ac controls. My wife's Telluride has all black piano.
So this weekend I decided to change all...+6 hrs of work...

First is removing the whole console, so you can take out the lid that covers the usb plugs. there are a couple of video on youtube about removing the console and the dash. The console is aluminum, so a nice sanding with 600 grid. The paint is "Rust Oleum Painters choice ultra cover2X", yes Rust Oleum! several applications until you get that piano black look. Then clear coat it, to protect it....Let dry for a couple of hours, no matter that you think is dry to the touch....

Any details on the upper dash? Looks like it is covered in suede or something?
