What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

How many miles @ 1st change? Fumoto is awaiting install here. Any tips on dealing with the filter?
I was at about 2700 miles. The struggle I had with the filter is that you have a small hole to reach into in order to access it. Probably goes a lot easier with a 27mm socket - but I did not have one so I had to make due with my adjustable wrench. Very awkward angle to get good leverage.

Every other part of the process was pretty easy, including installing the valve. It screws right in with no problem - I rotated the opening ~90 degress just in case it rubs against the engine covers

Looks great, I would do the same for the door panels
I started to but it got real tough (lack of edges makes it really rough) and after 1.5 hours, I gave up and just used the piece I was using for that on the door handle plates.

Thanks. I've barely got 1200 mi. I equipped myself w/a regular and the 'low profile' sockets. I don't want to take a chance with a wrench. My knuckles and I have a sordid history with those!!

Regarding the vanity on the driver side, do you have to remove the plastic stock and put the new one? Or you put the aluminum over the stock plastic one?
Yep. The plastic one comes out and the metal replaces it with the same 3 push pins.

Ordered parts!! - Front and rear sway bars, and the Misi OCC:D

Yup! Eibachs... the OCC is going to take a while to arrive (about a month) so I'll prolly get the bars installed first and the OCC later

Edit... thinking of painting the can, and or bracket... just can't decide on a colour....

  • Self-installed Kilmat in the battery / spare area to cut down on noise

Are you happy with the results? My Stinger is stock but I'm still thinking about trying this to reduce highway road noise. I've seen lots of recommendations to do under the back seat too.

I think I am going to treat the area under the rear seat as well but it already feels quieter to me. It was quite a bit of work cutting and fitting but the install was very simple. I wish I had bought a smaller size roller as well but the handle end of the roller I bought worked reasonably well.

Considering how shallow the trunk is with no sound insulation, most of the sound will be coming from the back. Under the seats there is already a bit of OEM material as well as the metal is not shallow (like in the trunk). When I did mine we also looked at the rear seat but realized there would probably be no point doing it. The difference with only insulating the trunk area around the battery was huge.

Installed the Rokblokz mud guards. I like them a lot, but they didn't include screw clips for the rear as they are under the impression it's screws holding the back wheel well cover on. It's not, it's pop clips (at least on 2020s). Had to jury rig some receiving pieces to screw into and they came out pretty great.

Edit: changed photos to show the rears were initially wrong in case someone decides to copy my goofy arse.

I didn't need to add anything for mine. Also on a 2020.
