What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

can you post a pic of this ??

None of my phone cameras are picking up the dent well and they end up looking like scratches in the pictures because only the edges are showing up. Its easy to see in person and when moving your hand across it, you can feel the height difference, but it doesn't feel like a scratch, feels like the rest of the paint.

I can see a bit of the dent , from my perspective , Kia didn't cause this and neither did you ( unless you did "something" during its removal ?? ) so the dealer did it . This panel is plastic and PDR wont being able to fix it , if its indented it needs to be filled and repainted ...................sometimes old badges leave a ghost which can be removed with a mild abrasive using an orbital polisher ...............I would ask a good body shop what they think , good luck

Yeah, I agree that it didn't come from the factory that way (basically said that in the e-mail I sent to Kia) and I babied the emblem removal using just some dental floss on a hot day. Although I was extremely easy going, I could see them claiming that the edges of the emblem "dug in" to the paint, but as mentioned in a previous post, I can see the entire top half of an "R" and some parts of other letters.

Although I can't prove it, I feel like the only way that would have happened would have been during application of the emblem with A LOT of force being used to stick it to the car. In the end, I'll probably be told by the dealer and Kia that they can't prove that I didn't cause it, but I've actually had good luck with this dealer fixing 2 other areas without any push back / charge (1 caused by them - wiper blades into the hood and 1 caused by ice - the plastic that covers the key-hole on the driver-side door handle broke off). Fingers crossed.

Great job on all of these mods. Thanks for the ideas, as I'm going to pickup some Kilmat and some silicone licence plate frames as well.
I read and watch a bunch of reviews on Kilmat, Fatmat, Noico, Dynamat, etc. Kilmat kept rising to the top because of cost, ease of install and most importantly to me (and my wife) lack of smell. Smell would be a deal breaker.

I'm really glad I found the Undertag frame. The cheap silicone frame I had previously was very flimsy and had no drain holes. Plus I like the flag even if no one can see it.

Wife finally decided she wanted to drive the Stinger today, after 6 months of ownership! Probably wont be able to get her out of the driver's seat now.:(

I've seen numerous posts about the metal handle protector inserts and like them, but have also seen iffy reviews, they're not cheap, sometimes don't include enough adhesive, can fall off, may not work even if you replace the stock plastic ones with them, etc...

Decided to use some carbon fiber vinyl I had laying around and really like how they turned out.

Also wanted to ask if anyone has any interior door panel kick protectors? Been looking at these but not sure I'll like the look and if they'll stay clean (verified with the seller they fit US Stingers). Search the following on eBay to see them: Felt Inside Door Shield Cover Scratch Kick Protector for KIA 2017 - 2020 Stinger

Did my first oil change and installed the Fumoto valve. Dear lord was the oil filter a PITA to remove.
How many miles @ 1st change? Fumoto is awaiting install here. Any tips on dealing with the filter?
