What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

Wow, I am not surprised Ceramic coating is not the cure, although I imagine it offers good protection for the paint. What part of the country do you live in that pollen is so ubiquitous in the fall?
Georgia

Well it happened to me yesterday:cry: Guy hit me hard not paying attention when driving. And saw the rear frame is bent!

Ouchies! So sad to see this. Do you have a good place lined up for the repairs. Living in your area, I can tell you a few places I would not go to but it is harder to settle on a place I would actually recommend. When my wife's MB E350 got rear ended a few years ago, we took it to a place in Westlake Village that did great work. I think it was called Prestige, but I would need to check that out. It is near WHS in the industrial area off TO Blvd. It is one of those body shops where you never see the area where people are working, you only see the front office which is pretty tidy for a place that works on cars. I am assuming they work on all brands of cars, but they could specialize in German cars.

This upsets me more than the pandemic! Rear-enders are the ultra maroons of the road. It's worse today than ever, with people distracting themselves with phones; and more people driving impaired. I watch my rearview mirrors a LOT. But in a situation where you are already stopped, what good does that do? All you can do is brace yourself. Crap. That looks just horrible.:cry::mad:

So sorry, I feel your pain. I can have trouble sleeping for a few days after a mild curb rash incidence. I had one about a month ago and was bummed that I scarred our perfect new car. When I shared the damage to Carol, she told me she was surprised it took me so long to discover it, and confessed she hit the curb when she took our granddaughter to school. It all seems so trivial after your ordeal.

wow I sorry for your accident, thankfully you are unharmed. I'm sure the SOB was on his/her phone, Im telling so many SOBS driving these days at least you have a good opportunity to badge your car and put the real badge on it (the KIA badge). ;)

Not my ordeal: @mhal8876 's. I just get upset easily when this happens to anybody's car. But thanks for the sympathy anyway.:)

I, by the way, am the self-styled Curb Rash King. My finding this forum was wanting to know if there was a better way to fix the damage than what I was doing already; and thus, my first thread was asking that question. Does anybody else need to learn where the wheels are on this car?

Yesterday I went down one wheel size!
19 -> 18

Performance & Personal preference
I know you're into performance. Why do the 18" wheels improve performance?

For the same reason that 20" wheels decrease performance. :)

They are lighter than my 19s.

Wheel + tire total is 5 lbs lighter in the rear.(each)
And my 19s were very light already, this is almost 20 lbs lighter than stock.

You know, since you've gone down to 18's, I'll be glad to take the GfG's off your hands. ;)
You are welcome to take them if you can come here :D
