What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

It's very easy to apply, the hard work is cleaning, cleaning, and more cleaning .

It would be much easier to coat the wheels straight out of the box. Probably would have saved me 2 hours of cleaning, but I waited 2.5 months (backorder) and couldn't resist installing them ASAP.

I know of and have used a “ceramic coating” gloss for tires from Feynlab. Lasts 6-12 months depending on number of coats and conditions. Talk about cleaning. You have to clean the tires with degreaser on a rag until no more black comes off. You know how long that takes? Hours. But it does keep the tires nice and shiny and black no matter what. Only recommended for the truly OCD, or masochistic, like me.

After the service on tuesday last week they found a hole in the mat at the drivers side (the original mat)
Quoted me around $100 for a new original one...

A HOLE?! How is that possible? Do you tap your foot/wiggle your driving heel while you drive?:P

If it makes you feel any better the silver part of the pedals scratch easily from dirt/gravel being dragged across them and water spots are more noticeable.
No doesn’t help :( I’ve noticed that on mine as well but I’d still rather they all matched.

Got the road salt off the underside today. The last snow storm (yesterday) did not dredge up much if any salt from the roads this time, so, I think that unless they salt the roads again, I'm probably going to call this car wash good and put my summer wheels and tires back on in a couple of weeks (i.e. no more trips to the car wash from that point on until I put the winter setup back on late in the year).

Here are the four drying guys all over my car (I was the only car at the moment; when there are more vehicles coming out of the tunnel, you only get two):

Even as thorough as they are, when I get home I finish up by opening the hatch and drying the sill (they don't open trunks/hatches unless you stand there and ask them to while you watch; and I'd rather do that part myself anyway), and go over the whole outside getting rid of the errant drops that always emerge. Nobody polishes up my exhaust stubs like I do, so, I spray and wipe that area down too.

Its probably from the heel(sp?) of the shoe where it rest while i drive. Its around the brake pedal area. And this happened in like 20,000km

Happens to most mats eventually, however at 20,000km my OEM mat is holding up well with little signs of wear.

Sure, "eventually". But "Vikings" must be more fidgety than normal people; lack of raiding opportunities make them worse. :D And, driving with both feet, one on the gas one on the brake!? But even this, plus fidgeting (in theory) is hard to imagine wearing a hole in so short a time. Time to upgrade to all-season rubber mats!

I went to Jerry Seiner Kia to get my emissions checked, and get licensed for another year. Why would I drive past uncounted I&E stations, just to go to "my" dealer"? Because I could not imagine myself picking one of those many I&E stations to handle my car in and out of their bay. I trust "my" service guys more than the alternatives. That says good things about Jerry Seiner, South Jordan, and I told James the service manager as much.

When I first pulled in, a Silky Silver 2.0T was on a lift. (Note: I do not count this as a "Wild" sighting because it's on dealership property.)

Got my mechanic to install Whiteline sways + endlinks + Stoptech SS brake lines + Fumoto valve.

-sways definitely make the car feel more "buttoned down", as others have said. Even with Mando ECS10 set to "soft", feels more like my wife's '16 GTI
-installed G-Loc GS1 brakes all around

-installed my new Enkei TY-5 18" wheels + Pilot Sports (245-40-18, 285-35-18). Went with 18s because tires are cheaper, and I want to do some tracking. Still looks really nice.

Still need to install my pedal commander, but that's going to be it for a while, subject to finding weaknesses after track day..

Probably costs way more then exhcnage the original mat every 20k km.

I had the Whiteline front and rear sway bars, end links and the ATQ subframe chassis collar kit installed today.

I actually bought them November last year but was kind of unsure who I can ask to install them. Finally after months of researching for a trustworthy installer, I finally found a reputable one and very happy with the install (both for the parts and installer).

Loving the improved handling and stability.

Congratulations, great up grades, I have everything but the ATQ collars & handling is amazing.

I don't know. OEM Factory 2018 2019 2020 Kia Stinger Accessories - Spare Tire Kits, Floor Mats, Cargo Trays, Roof Rack Cross Bars, Fog Lights, Splash Guards, Bug Shields, License Plate Frames, Key Chains, Mud Guards, All Weather Mats, and Much More! Looks about the same, carper or all-weather, for dedicated (hooked) floor mats. Sure, you can get generic floor mats for less than thirty bucks.

Kia Stinger Floor Mats All Weather (AWD models)
List Price: $140.00
Our Price: $119.95

This alone is ~$20 more then their price, and knowing sweden, the price will increase another 40% due to import tax and fees, etc etc.

This is one of the reason why i have not ordered JBL4, spark plugs etc because it becomes soo much more expensive to recive.

OEM is nice and thick. It also helps if you vary your footwear.
