What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

I received a package today as well all the way from Australia, and I can not wait to get them installed!

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Finally got the car back from the body shop. It was tough not having it for a couple of weeks, but the silver lining is they painted my new spoiler, which I installed today.

Front lip?
No it’s a M&S rear spoiler that I am going to skin in carbon fibre. I started the process yesterday but didn’t prep the spoiler good enough and my CF lifted in an area so I had to ripe it all off and start over. Bone head mistakes:sleep: like this add a lot of time to the project not to mention the CF and resin I wasted. So prep today and buy more CF tomorrow. Keep ya posted.

Are you vacuum bagging it?
Prep is key (learned that lesson many times.... or maybe I didn't  but I have learned that I lack the patience for many things )

So, you get fancy accent lighting on your pedals with that? Now, I am tempted.

No nothing fancy here I’ll be doing it by hand. I have the patience, I just have to calm my excitement.

Cool- Parchment paper and sandbags will help keep everything in place until the resin sets up. I've also used a foodsaver vacuum bag setup with decent results
Looking forward to seeing the end results!

Any feedback on how its working for you? I'm considering one because I loath throttle lag and this car has plenty of it.

While I’m sure the pedal tuner is good, all I see in that pic is a shiny footrest that matches the brake and accelerator and it makes me just a tiny bit jealous because for some unknown reason Kia decided to stick a boring black plastic one in the Australian models.

The bms pedal tuner has 9 modes and the option to switch back to stock mode so really it has 10 mode choices. I drove it around for about 15 minutes last night aggressively and normal in comfort & sport to try all the settings out. I like the “orange” modes the best which would be modes 4-6 on the sensitivity scale.

I appreciate the difference it made in comfort mode because I tend to drive in that mode the most on my commutes and it is noticeably more responsive. It is also noticeable in sport mode and you can switch through the 9 pedal tuner modes on the fly.

Then I switched it back to stock mode and it really shows how much lag/delay it takes to get going when you’re driving normally in traffic for example.

The car feels less like a drive by wire and more like a drive by cable car now which is what I’m used to and prefer.

If it makes you feel any better the silver part of the pedals scratch easily from dirt/gravel being dragged across them and water spots are more noticeable.
