What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

Swapped reverse light bulbs for LED. Got it tinted last Friday but forgot to post about it, so I’ll throw it in now!

Yesterday got my hatch emblems all on finally, after rolling around with no emblems for about 2 weeks. Had a hiccup with putting the GT badge on with the first adhesive I tried, damaged the paint actually. But went back and used the 3M tape and got it covered up thankfully. The rear looks much better now.

Jerry Seiner Kia sent that video to my Inbox before I even left the place. I'm still here! :D

Oil change and inspection. Obviously, my tires in the rear are shot. :D
I'm on my way to Wheel Werks , shortly, to get new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S (preparing for the road trip in less than two weeks).

Huh first I've ever seen of a dealer doing something like that. Pretty cool.

By the way, is that cut out for the oil filter there on all models? I had seen a post on getting the plate and having to cut it out yourself.. So thought it wasn't on our cars.

I posted about the video inspection last summer too. But then there was a hiatus where their Net was down; then they forgot; and then something else interrupted this very cool bennie. But this time, I scored a video! Mention it to your service centers, everybody: raise the bar of expectations!:thumbup:

I have no idea on the filter access. You're the first person to mention it. Hmm.

Yes the cutout is there on all Stingers.

Ok I found out where I saw it. It was on FB stinger owners group. He states he had to do it on a 2019 3.3T... That’s odd. I Guess some people got the access hole and some didn’t? Google search showed some solid panels as well.

That is for the oil drain plug though. Which there is no access to from the panel. You usually need to remove it in order to drain the oil.
The opening you saw on the video is for the oil filter, which present on all Stingers.

BMS markets them as strut braces but aren't they just radiator supports? I can see them making a difference if they were connecting both strut towers but they're just a single bolt connecting the strut tower to the radiator support. I'm pretty sure they're just eye candy with very little impact.
May provide a little rigidity to the front; heavy bolts and very solid but likely mostly cosmetic.

What did I do today, well actually this was Saturday but my 5-month-old Stinger got rear-ended :( So far just base estimate to fix without taking it apart is $2700.

Hit me hard enough to push me into the car in front of me but not enough front damage for front replacement just repair and repaint. Rear bumper and lower will be replaced and repainted.
OMG what did you say! I would not have been very kind to the driver of the POS! Look at all the crap in the window he probably didn't see you. He obviously doesn't give a crap about his car I bet he doesn't even get it fixed.

OE front two under panels; last year's damaged ones that came on the car, and the replacement OE panels. The filter access port is on both.

Ok that's were my confusing was coming from. I really need to get under there and look the underside over to get a better idea. I thought it was only 1 panel under there not 2.

New Michelin Pilot Sport 4S rear tires (Pilot Sport 4 still on the front, half gone).
