What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

I did something kinda fun today , Despite repairing 3 chips in my hood ( 18 months of driving ) I wasnt happy with the overall result . A clear bra would only allow the chips to show thru so I decided to do something different and try a 3m semi gloss white Carbon Fiber look as a "bra" , I was looking for a bit of contrast as well as protection , I used the bumper / fender seam as a break point , I think I'm going to wrap the hood vents in the same material and use gloss black vinyl for the center spine .... .............I'll run it this way for the Summer ( easy to peel off )

Took part in the Sweep Away Cancer Rally at Tail of the Dragon today. Had a lot of fun with the stinger and it held its own against a Cayman 918 GTS. Have some gopro footage to clip up and I'll share.

If you haven't heard of Tail of the Dragon - https://tailofthedragon.com/ its 318 Curves in 11 miles through the Tenn. mountains. Really beautiful and a lot of fun. We should have a Stinger rally there at some point.

I also saw 3 Tellurides and 0 Stingers while driving around. It won't until I was heading home on I-40 that I saw a yellow stinger shoot by going I-40W.

What part of that is the actual "Dragon"? The whole "loop" would make a ridiculously cool road race. Take that, Nürburgring!

Just that c. eleven mile length (the Ring is 12 and a bit) has twice as many curves in it than the Ring.

I did a thing this morning. One sheet of 12x24 DEI gold reflective wrap was enough to do both of the BMS heat shields. Trying to decide if I should get the matching tape to wrap the intake tube.

Trying to wrap the tube is a pain. The tape doesn’t flex and it very wide for some of the curves. I ended up cutting it into skinny short strips to cover the tube.

Quickjack's are awesome! The BL-6000 have inches to spare when lining up the correct pinchweld lift points.

Eibach rear sway went on today, I'll have a quick video incoming that clarifies what made my first attempt tedious. Ratchet made all the difference, and I have the tool list that makes it easy. I'll post it to the installation thread.

Costco sells them in Canada - the 5,000 lb model is $1350 online, 7,000 lb is $1500 (delivered). I've seen them in the warehouse as well, so as they are pretty heavy to ship they may be priced cheaper for direct pickup.
