I painted mine body colour - like the contrast between the gloss black bumper.

That is what I was just thinking. Outside of Ceramic Coating (exterior & interior), K&N intakes, remote start and new wheels I have no money left.

After I de-badged the back of the car, I painted the small stinger script and stuck it on the hatch cover. I like it.

I'm not sure if I can take credit for the idea. I think I saw it on here quite a while ago and then did it shortly after I got my car, but that was several months ago and I honestly don't remember if that's how it came about. Regardless, it seems like a decent use for that badge.

Did yours' Stinger text face the driver or the passenger? The pictures from k8stingerstore show text that faces the front passenger, as if it is for AUS or Korean markets.

I abused her....yes drove her in the rain for the first time....a virgin no mo...so sad......BUT maybe her bottom is dirty ,but with the ppf and the crazy sealant waxes on the rest....nada...no trace of that nasty ol highway grime on top....a moment of silence please? Installed mesh on my passenger side brake vents. Started to do the drivers side but that’s on the sunny side of the car and the concrete driveway was too hot on my bum! So that will be done later this arvo.



For those who came in late, some time back @AV8R made a template for these which is available in the DIY sub-forum. In addition AV8R has also gone to the trouble of sourcing the mesh, cutting it to size and provided them free of charge to Australian Stinger owners. In my case he sent me a set across the entire continent from Perth to Brisbane and refused to accept any payment either for the mesh or even just the postage.

Not trying to embarrass you AV8R but a lot of your good deeds for the betterment of the forum go unnoticed and unrewarded, particularly by international forum members.

Flameangel is getting a set soon too. I’m slowly running outta mesh tho . It was the intention from the start that it was a non profit idea. I foot the postage bill as it’s only a few bucks, how ever I can’t do it for the whole lot of Aussie members sorry. Just a few select homies .
I must say I have made some great Aussie friends from this forum. Even though I have never seen their faces they feel like family.

Thanks mate. Followed your advice on installation and it was easy. Didn’t even need to trim the mesh you sent me, it went straight in.
