Got it off EBay after seeing a Stinger owner who installed it and posted the link. Custom Style Rear Spoiler is what was advertised, and made in the US.

I've got cerakote on a few guns. Works well for that purpose. How do you think it will stand up to the heat from the exhaust?

Went with Cerakote cos of the heat tolerance and hopefully will weather better than powdercoating, which tends to scratch and chip easily.

Also Cerakote has way more colours and textures to choose from. Powdercoating colours are pretty limited here in Singapore.

Did you use their high heat coating?

This guy did, and WOW!




I don't think regular Cerakote will last long term vs. high heat. Some of the header manufactures for LS engines use Cerakote on their parts. They look good but after a year or two they're back to being regular ole burned up stainless steel.

I bought the pre-painted ones, but they were a pain to install and I don't recommend them until some good directions become available. Have a body shop paint them instead for now.
