What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

Did this to my STI, made all the difference with a loud exhaust

And it essentially transforms the doors into a speaker box.

Nice work did you take any pictures of the doors and the grill?? I did the hatch thinking of doing the doors.

I didn't take any of the doors, because I was on the ground and I'm old and gravity, etc.

I did get some pics of the grill felt stuff though.

I would love to have that. I wonder how all these mods affect warranty? Like, would all electrical now be void?

No different than adding a radar detector or amp. Shouldn't have any impact on the warranty.

I installed Dynamat in all four doors, under the back seat, and the entire hatch. Finished it off with a Frankenstein like patchwork of 1" Dynaliner under the thing that covers the spare tire.

Also pulled the felt filters out of the mids and highs grilles.

Music sounds AMAZING. Much crisper/deeper, a lot less noise from the hatch, and a German/Lexus like "k-thunk" when the doors are shut ("k-thunk" = 25 hp, fyi).

A fun project for sure.

Thanks @andrew tay for the tip on the grilles.
Wow. Holy crap. I thought just doing the hatch/trunk area was a lot. Great job!

installed Injen Intakes today , butt dyno noticed a difference

$275 to paint and fit spolier. This also included them affixing the badge and removing the others.
Looking just to paint the spoiler....I can fit it myself.....is there a paint code or just gloss black?

plasti dip seems like the logical choice

Wow! That’s a lot of work on there. My guess is the only noise now is wind noise across the glass area. Did you take a decibel reading before and after the work? Curious to know how much of a reduction in noise that provided.

I think the most noise now is from the wheel wells. I've got enough left over to do the rear arches but I'm not sure how I'd go about doing the front, or if I have enough to accomplish it without spending more money.

Unfortunately I didn't do a before and after reading.

Love it! I'm all about ambient lighting! Got some lights last week on Amazon ... someone posted a link to some nice lights on here. Might have been you!:)

It wasn't me but it's probably the same kit I bought. I saw it posted here as well.
