Wheel looks great but jesus was that installed without disconnecting the battery and discharging the airbag? If so that is the most wreckless install ever, you can kill yourself doing that.

Yes just turned off the car. The install took less than 10 minutes in total..
Honestly, the guy has been making and installing steering wheels for 20 years so I just let him do his thing.
But if I was installing myself I would definitely have searched for the safest way to do it.. Can the air bag be triggered even when the car is off?

Yes the wheel looks great, good spot & I totally agree, that could have fatal implications working like that & yes this is wreckless & if it was ignorance why are they working on the car.

Nice, is there any chance of closer photo’s & can you find out the part number, I would love that in mine, we only got black plastic ones & I’m hoping that this will fit right hand drive model that we have here in OZ.

Don't think so, it is smooth and kind of like cardboard. Also, don't see how Velcro would work with the decal.

Yuppp very dangerous, the car battery must always be unhooked and wait about 10mins to discharge the airbag or it could discharge during removal.

The guy who installed my alcantara wheel also didn’t bother with disconnecting the battery, just went about the whole process. Before he started I did ask him to disconnect, he just smiled and said it would be alright haha!
