Removed these from all hose clamps and tightening every single clamp on the boost hoses !!

What made you want to switch?
I kind of like the black one. Mine comes with the silver one you installed.

The black one isn't necessarily bad, I think it looks good too. It's just that the piano black plastic always looks dirty imo. It either looks dusty or has fingerprint marks on it. I'm sure a good microfiber towel would do wonders but I decided to switch since I swapped in the 8" screen and nav and painted the trim around the screen silver to match the center console, thought that was a better match.



I will say that the silver steering wheel trim doesn't even really match the center console silver. It's more a match to the silver trim around the nav and radio controls.

Parts? You'll probably just have to look at eBay like I did. I am not sure what the number is. I just searched for a 18-21 dome light for a Kia Stinger that matched mine but with a sunglass holder (both in color (beige or black) and whether or not I had a sunroof; I did). The run about $100 US. This would be an example of the black with a sunroof:

As for instructions, it is really easy. Referencing this photo:

In the seam between the uvo buttons and the reading lights, there are two small notches; use a pry tool to pop that piece with the buttons off. That will expose 2 black Phillips screws. Unscrew those. You can then pop the whole unit out. It will still have wire connections attached.

One at a time, disconnect the wires from the old unit and connect to the new one. There will be a leftover small pigtail for the UVO buttons, but I left it disconnected.

There are two black clips that the 2 black Phillips screws attach to. You might need to adjust them so everything lines up. Pop the new unit back into the ceiling, pop open the sunglass holder to screw the black screws in, and voila, you're done.

Took me about 15 minutes, and most of that was lining up the clips.

It's official... I hit 1000km's today and almost straight away at 1001km's i did my first burnout leaving the lights.

Car feels as if it is now off it's leash !

And i am now seeing 14psi on the in dash gauge as close as it can read to it anyway... cheers

Nice. I just got a 23 gt2 like 5 months ago, then they announced the tribute edition. If only I waited for a few months.... Now I have to decide if I want to trade mine for the tribute. It only has 2700 miles on it.

You might be hard pressed to get one at this point. I had been pressing my dealership since I first read about it back in December. I knew about the car before they did.

Oh well, I can forget about trading it then. The dealer probably going to add markup on the tribute, and give me less then 50k for trade in.

It never hurts to ask. But with only 440 units in the whole country, it will be slim pickings.
